摘要 爱情作为人类一种重要的情感，在人类生活中占据极其重要的位 置。随着认知语言学的发展，情感的研究重点从情感的心理学研究转 移至人们对情感的理解和认知。从认知科学的角度来看，情感的研究 应该置于概念系统之中，用隐喻和转喻这两个认知机制来阐述情感。 受概念隐喻理论影响的隐喻思维通常对理解情感起着关键性作用。本 论文对认知语言学理论应用于情感分析进行了初步尝试。具体地说， 本文把概念隐喻理论、概念转喻理论，认知模型和文化模型应用于 阐释情感的理解，以期探索不同语言中的情感文化模型。 本文选取了围城中的爱情隐喻作为研究情感的范本，通过认 知学角度对比英文中爱情隐喻的各种表达，以期发现英汉语中不同的 文化认知模型及其原因，从而对隐喻认知与文化、民族心理，思维方 面的关系有深刻的认识。 通过对围城中爱情隐喻和转喻的研究，本文得出如下结论： 一方面，英汉语都遵循相似转喻原则：通过情感的生理、心理或行为 反应来表达情感。两种语言在情感的概念化过程中都借助一些相同的 概念隐喻。另一方面，中英情感概念隐喻化和转喻化过程中存在着文 化相对性。两种语言在爱情表达中的不同又可通过概念化背后的文化 模式做出解释。总之，英汉爱情隐喻在认知模型的差异主要有：英语 中主要的爱情认知模型是爱情是互补的两个部分，而汉语中主要的爱 情认知模型是爱情是一个有机的整体。 上述认知语言学理论应用于情感隐喻分析包含两方面的意义。第 一，把这些认知语言学理论应用于情感分析可以更好地解析情感的认 知构建过程，从而对情感的本质形成更深刻的了解，以促进对情感的 理解。第二，把这些认知语言学理论应用于文学文本分析可以从总体 上检验这些理论的阐释力，力图发现它们在分析文学语篇时表现出的
