山东师范大学硕士学位论文 中文摘要 本文尝试从概念整合理论的视角对外交语言进行认知研究，作者通过分析 从互联网，新闻媒体以及文献中任意选出的语料，来证明这一理论能够用于阐释 外交语言解读的动态过程。 外交语言是处理外交事务时所使用的语言。作为外交活动的主要承载者、 外交的主要工具以及外交人员捍卫国家利益的重要手段，毫无疑问，外交语言在 一个国家的外交中起着非常关键的作用，巧妙恰当的使用它能够极大地促进外交 的成功。由于外交语言一直受到人们的青睐，对它的研究从未停息，国内外学者 们不仅从语言学角度，而且还从哲学等不同视角对其进行分析，取得了显著成果。 但从认知学角度探讨外交语言意义构建和阐释的作品为数不多，并且关联理论往 往是首选理论。 九十年代，弗科尼亚建立了西方认知语言学领域非常显著的概念整合理 论：心理空间的映射错综复杂地建立起我们的概念网络，而这种映射在意义构建 中扮演了主要角色。一个概念合成网络通常包括四个心理空间( 输入空间1 ，输 入空间2 ，类属空间和合成空间) ：其中两个输入空间通过跨空间映射被联系起 来；类属空间包含了一个网络中所有空间都具有的共同结构；合成空间则是一种 动态的创造性认知活动，它的中心过程是概念合成，合成过程是在两个输入心理 空间的基础之上进行运演且产生第四个空间，即合成空间一它从输入空间中提取 部分结构，并形成层创结构。 概念整合理论可以用来深入细致地分析外交语言的意义构建和理解机制。在 这一理论框架下，意义构建被认为是一种认知过程，对话语的理解则被看作是一 个认知行为。在外交语言理解中，我们通过从概念域( 可能是多个) 和语境中部分 地吸收结构来组成心理空问一从同一个概念域还可以建立起不同的甚至不相容 的心理空间。合成的一个主要动因就是把几个因素整合成一个单位，这是因为输 入信息都有其内在联系，它们是由概念和经验激发的。与其他的思维和活动形式 一样，合成可以是固有的或是新的，它可以融合输入空间中的对应成分，但是不 必融合所有对应成分，此外，它还可以把不同输入空间的非对应成分结合起来。 尽管学者们已经从不同角度证明了概念整合理论的阐释力，但只有少数把这
