Train writing skills.教学难点Train writing skills.教法导航从实际出发,选择不同的教学辅助工具和手段,充分利用教科书的资源,力求使学生达到高效学习。学法导航认真训练培养写作能力。教学准备PPT、照片。教学过程Step 1: GreetingsGreet the students as usual.Step 2: RevisionHave a dictation of the words in last class.Step 3: 2a-2bWork on 2aFind the males and the females first names in this unit and write them down.While the students are doing this exercise, go around the classroom to check what they are doing.Ask some students to report their answers.Work on 2b.T: Look at the the two pictures and they are Jennys family .Lets read the short passage and circle the names.Students do the exercise by themselves. Ask one student to read his /her answer to the class.Students practise reading the short passage.Step 4: Work on 2c Complete the sentences with the word.Have students read the passages in 2b. Then draw a picture of Pauls family. brothers parents Cindy family If the students finish it, ask them to draw a picture of Pauls family.Exchange the picture and check it with the help of the teacher.Step 6: PresentationTake out a famous persons family photo and write down a passage about it on the blackboard as an example. Step 7: Group work Take out personal family photos and write down a passage on a piece of paper. Then stick the pictures and the paper on the blackboard, divide the students into three groups and give them some names like “ lion, wolf, tiger.” Compete each other to finish matching the pictures and letters. Step 8: Self Check Take out cards, get the students to say and spell the words when looking at the picture.Ask the students to finish the conversations.
