内容摘要数字与人类生活密切相关。计时、计价、计比例，计报酬、计胜负等，都少不了数字，这是所有语言中的共同现象。但是，数字的数字符号在人类文化中的作用，并不只限于计数及数学等方面，而是承担着更多的有时是神秘的文化符号功能形成了一种特有的数字文化现象。它在人类文化交流与发展中起着重要的作用，反映着鲜明的民族文化特色。数字及数字文化是人类语言文化中的一种普遍现象，并且是人类语言文化中不可忽视的一类文化。但是因为中西方在历史背景、社会习俗、宗教文化、意识形态等方面存在差异，所以在不同的文化背景下，数字又被赋予以不同的文化内涵。关于数字以及数字文化前人已进行了许多研究，如：数字谚语研究，数字习语比较研究，数字模糊性，等等。本文作者试图从文化空缺的角度对数字的文化内涵进行分类比较，从而探讨其语言学习者的影响。空缺现象是语言与文化研究中的一个非常重要的课题。空缺原指“空白、缺损”。空缺现象指在一种文化中存在，而在另一种文化中没有的事物、现象、特征等等。近几十年来，许多国外学者把空缺理论应用于跨语言对比研究中，用空缺现象来描述和揭示在不同语言的词汇、语法体系中以及在不同的文化中存在的民族差异成分。这对跨文化交际研究、外语学习以及翻译理论具有重大理论价值和实践意义。总而言之，文化学家、语言学家经过数十年的探索，逐步察觉到文化差异导致了空缺现象的产生。对于空缺的定义和分类，国内外学者仁者见仁，智者见智，各自提出其独特见解。为了更合理、更全面地进行数字语言文化内涵的跨文化比较，本文将空缺划分为：全空缺、部分空缺、冲突空缺、零空缺。全空缺是指一数字在一种文化中具有某种文化内涵，而在另一种文化中则完全没有这种文化内涵。这种现象在本文中称为全空缺现象。部分空缺是指一数字在一种文化中具有某些文化内涵意义，而在另一种文化中只具有其中部分相同的内涵意义，或者同时具有一些不同的内涵意义。冲突空缺，顾名思义，指一数字的文化内涵意义在两种文化中是完全不同甚至截然相反的。而零空缺则是指在两种文化i 扣同一数字的文化内涵意义完牟相同或相似的现象。对丁文化内涵全空缺数字的比较研究，使我们能够对造成差异，造成数字文化内涵空缺的渊源有深入了解，以便我们在关于数字的语言学习中更好地引入文化教学，从而真正实现语言教学与文化教学相结合。通过从文化空缺角度的分类比较，全空缺类型所包含的数字文化意义尤显突出，便于学生记忆，从而有效避免这些数字在跨文化交际中可能引起的负面影响。同时，由于该类型中的数字文化意义的特殊性，语言学习者在翻译实践中对这些数字也会加以关注的。至于文化内涵零空缺的数字，通过这类数字的分析比较，将使我们认识到数字文化与其他语言文化具有共同的本质；即使在不同的语言文化中，我们还是可以找到其共性，原因就在于共质性是人类语言文化的本质和基础所在。对数字文化内涵进行部分空缺与冲突空缺的分类研究无论在语言教学，跨文化交际还是翻译实践中都具有重要意义。因为他们不是简单的文化意义的相同或缺失，而是相同中有不同，不同中又隐含着相同，错综复杂，所以这两类数字的文化内涵是我们研究学习的重点。只有真正掌握了这两类数字在英汉语中的内涵意义，才可以说是获取了数字文化内涵的精髓。关键词：数字文化内涵文化空缺a
