A review of the key words by asking: Whats this? What are these?2. A name list of them on the blackboard.Step 3: TasksTask 1: Work on 2a Listening practiceListen and number these things 1-6 when they hear them. And check the keys with the students.Task 2: Work on 2b Listen again .Ask the students where the things from 2a are, and the students are asked to number the things 1-6 in the picture.Task 3: Work on 2c Oral practice Teacher asks Where Questions and a student gives the answers about the picture in 2b.Two students ask and answer questions about the things in the picture above.All the students in pairs follow the example to ask and answer, then show the good conversations before the whole class.Encourage all the students to express their spoken English actively.Step 4: Grammar focusHave the students master the target language?1. Wheres the map? Its in your grandparents room.2. Where are my books? Theyre on the sofa.3. Wheres his pencil box? Its in his schoolbag.4. Wheres your ruler? Its under the chair.5. Where are their keys? Theyre on the table.Ask them to read aloud in pairs.Step 5: Work on 3aT: (Ask students to look at the picture in 3a.) What can you see in the picture?Remind them to use the new words which they have learned in the last period. And ask them to fill in the blanksStep 6: Work on 3b Pair work practice the conversation in the picture above.S1: Where are the keys?S2: They are on the desk.Step 7: Work on 3c Students in pairs ask and answer questions about things in the picture like 3c.Then look at the picture in 1a. Find the differences. Encourae the students to use the following:A: Where is the schoolbag? Is it under the table?B: No, it isnt. Its on the table.Step 8: Writing practiceThe students are asked to write down their own conversations above. And show the good conversions on the blackboard.Step 9: SummaryComparison:Wheressingle?Itsin/on/under .Wherereplural?Theyrein/on/under .Is itsingle?Yes, it is./No, it isnt.Are theyplural?Yes, they are. /No, theyre not.Step 10: HomeworkCopy the 2 conversat
