Knowledge Aims:(1) Get students to learn more about food, such as some fruits, vegetables, and so on according to some key words and expressions in this part.(2) Get students to learn the basic knowledge on the healthy eating,.2. Ability Aims:(1) Enable Ss to talk about their eating habits.(2) To train students ability of speaking about different topics. 3. Emotional Aims:(1) Get students to be interested in information about eating and food.(2) Encourage students to have a sense of healthy eating.(3) Encourage students to be interested in English learning.三.教学重点和难点(Teaching Key and Difficult Points)1. Teaching Key Points(1) Identify different groups of food and talk about healthy food.(2) Get students to learn the basic knowledge on the healthy eating 2. Enjoy the video A Bite of China2.Discuss three questions and share answers with other SsStep 3Warming Up1. Play a game: What are they?Let Ss name the different kinds of food according to the pictures on the board, such as some fruits and vegetables, some Chinese food, some western food.2. To be a gastronomistLet Ss try to guess which country these food come from according to the pictures on the board.Chinese food, Japanese food, French food, South Korean food, British food, Indian food, Italian food.Look at the board carefully and guess what they are in the pictures. Then read and spell them one by one according to the pictures.Step 4Discussion1. Give Ss three to discuss the following question in a group of four.Q1:What is a healthy diet?2. After discussing, ask some Ss to share their results with other Ss by talking.3. Teacher gives some pictures about different kinds of food, and identify them into three groups: Energy-giving Food , Body-building Food and Protective Food. Then, show the answer to the Ss:A healthy diet =energy-giving food + body-building + protective food1.Discuss the question that teacher shows and share the results with other Ss by talking after discussing2. Listen to the teacher carefully and understand more about Energy-giving Food ,Body-building Food and Protective Food.Step 5Further Study1. Let Ss know what a balanced diet is.A balanced diet simply means a bit of everything, including meat, fish, vegetables and fruit.A balanced diet must contain carbohydrate, protein, fat, vitamins, mineral salts and fiber. It must contain these things in the correct proportions.2. Enable Ss to understand: Which is healthy food and which is junk food?Junk food is an informal term applied to some foods which are perceived to have little or no nutritional value, or to products with nutritional value but which also have ingredients considered unhealthy when regularly eaten, or to those considered unhealthy to consume at all.3.Quotations:Eat at pleasure, drink with measure.随意吃饭,适度饮酒。Diet cures more than doctors.自己饮食有节, 胜过上门求医。An apple a day keeps the doctor away.每天一只苹果, 无需医生进门。Leave off with an appetite.吃得七分饱, 就该离餐桌。Eat to live, but not live to eat.吃饭是为了生存,但生存不是为了吃饭。Some soup before dinner, healthy body forever.饭前喝口汤,永远没灾殃。1.
