黑龙江省黑河市第四中学七年级英语下册unit 7 what does he look like section b(1a-2c)教学实录及反思 人教新目标版teachers words: dont judge the others by their appearance. 不要以貌取人 。 一、教学课型:英语听说课(45分钟)二、教材分析:1教学内容:本课是新人教版英语新目标(go for it)七年级下册第七单元section b1a-2c第一课时的内容。2教材处理:新课程标准强调语言教学应从学生的兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、合作与交流的学习方式。本套教材采用任务型教学(task- based language teaching)模式,即直接通过课堂教学让学生用英语完成各种真实的生活,学习,工作等任务,将课堂教学的目标真实化,任务化,从而培养学生运用英语的能力。三、学情分析:经过七年级上学期的学习,学生已经掌握了一些基本的日常用语,能够用英语很流畅的交流信息,表达喜好和情感。有了解异国文化,习俗的强烈愿望。在英语学习中,他们能够积极参与和合作,有共同完成各种任务的意识。这为本节课任务活动的开展奠定了基础。但学生在知识方面,缺少丰富的语言基础,对某些任务的完成有一定的难度;在思维能力方面,虽有较强的记忆力和模仿能力,但知识扩展运用的能力尚有待培养;在参与方面,大多数学生有较强的求知欲和表现欲,但部分学生存在不自信、羞于表现等思想顾虑。四、教学理念: 通过对“杜郎口”教学模式的学习,以及对新课程标准的领悟,在教学过程中,本人努力贯彻以学生为主体的教学新理念,遵循由浅入深,循序渐进的教学原则,力求使各个任务环环相扣,以符合学生的思维特点和认知水平,充分结合英语学科的特点,引导学生动眼看、动情读、动耳听、动口说、动笔写、动脑思,真正做到全身心投入学习,参与各种教学实践活动,使学生能在“自主合作探究”理念下获取课本知识、培养其综合语言运用的能力,同时锻炼学生在真实生活中运用所学知识去解决问题的能力,最终达到学以致用的目的。五、教学目标1、语言知识目标:1)熟练掌握重点词汇:beard. glasses. have a beard, wear glasses , have blonde hair2)熟练掌握重点句型: 询问他人外貌用语what does he look like?what does she look like?what do they look like? 描述他人外貌用语he/she is tall/ .he/she has short hair/ .he/she is of medium height/ . 2、语言技能目标:1)培养学生自主学习的能力;2)提升学生人际交往的能力;3)培养学生探究合作的参与意识;4)锻炼学生运用所学知识自编对话的能力。 3、情感态度目标:1)“不要以貌取人”的教师寄语,意在培养学生正确的人生观和世界观;2)通过几个任务对不同的人外表的描述,培养学生细心观察的好习惯;3)体会英语学习的乐趣,并做到“在用中学,在学中用”。4、学习策略目标:1)兴趣活动策略:采用游戏、竞赛、合作等多种活动方式;2)开放教学策略:开发课程资源,拓展学用渠道; 3)采用“任务型”教学策略;4)注重评价方式和鼓励措施,增强学生学习英语的信心。5、文化意识目标:通过本课学习,增强学生对异国语言的理解,最终达到跨文化进行交际的目的。六、教学评价:1、评价主体:学生本人、学习小组、教师。2、评价方式:用学生自评、小组互评、教师点评相结合的即时评价方式。七、教学实录:step1. revision review how to describe a student in 3b. ask students to describe individually. then do it together. explain some key sentence structures.t: who can describe paul? s1: paul is the tall man with brown hair and glasses.t: good! lets say together.ss: paul is the tall man with brown hair and glasses.t: here means paul is a tall man and he has brown hair. who can describe cathy?s2: cathy is the short girl in a green sweater and blue trousers. t: lets say together.ss: cathy is the short girl in a green sweater and blue trousers. t: here means cathy is short and she is wearing a green sweater and blue trousers. we can use in-phrase to describe peoples cloches. who can describe li jun?s3: li jun is taking his books to the classroom. he is wearing a t-shirt and a pair of brown shoes. t: lets say together.ss: li jun is taking his books to the classroom. he is wearing a t-shirt and a pair of brown shoes. t: who can describe yu jie?s4: yu jie is walking with paper in her hands.t: lets say together.ss: yu jie is walking with paper in her hands上一课在对人物外貌描述时大多使用的是结构相对简单的简单句,实际在学生使用基本词汇的时候,他们有想把人物描述得更生动的欲望,并且他们想使用更地道的、纯正的英语来展示自己,因此,我在本课前引入了以上几个结构较为复杂的简单句,以此来扩充学生的知识量,满足他们的好奇心与求知欲,并为学生在本节课的语言发挥打下基础。step2. lead-in1. brainstormt: ok , youve done a good job !now lets make a brainstorm . look at the pictures one by one , describe the man appearance as quickly as you can , as clearly as you can , as loudly as you can . are you ready ? go ! (show some pictures of george bush , then change them one by one . )此环节的目的是为了通过照片上人物外表的滑稽改变来增强学习的趣味性,同时引出一些生词,为1a和1b任务的顺利完成做好准备。同时,由课本上的人物到学生身边的人物,从而引出本课的正题-谈论名人,这使话题语言更具真实化,生活化。2. presentation1)ask class to match the words with the pictures to finish 1a.(1)_ beard (3)_ black hair(2)_ glasses (4)_ blonde hair2)check the answers. explain the first new word “beard” and introduce some additional words about beard. t: 同学们, 外国人的胡子很有趣, 要用不同的词汇来描绘不同种类的胡子:beard (嘴下面的胡子)mustache (嘴上面的胡子) (我让学生尽量去猜该词的发音,在此过程中提示学生注意重读音节.)whiskers (络腮胡)faceolive around beard (山羊胡) 创设情景,引入谈论的新问题,呈现所需要的语言知识。同时,向学生介绍一些不同种类的胡子,不仅可以扩展词汇,而且可以激发学生的想象力,增强课堂知识的趣味性.step3. practice 1. use these key words to make sentences about famous persons to finish 1b. and help students to describe a famous person they know. 1) jackie chan has black hair. 3)_ wears glasses.2)_ has a beard. 4)_ has blonde hair.(class discuss in pairs or in groups. then check the answers.)t: lets look at the example: jackie chan has black hair. t: next, look at number2.who has a beard?s5:han hong. (全班同学大笑.由于急于回答问题该生看错了行.)s6: zhou jielun has a beard.s7: yang kun has a beard. t:who wears glasses?s8: han hong.(第一次抢答错的学生回答,我有意给他一个机会来改错.)s9: zhou bichang .s10: s11: t: who has blonde hair?s12:he jie .s13:li yuchun .s14:salina. 通过1a 和1b的练习,用句型强化本课重点单词的用法,不仅使学生掌握了本课的新词汇与短语,更加深了对它们用法的理解,这为下面学习任务的实施奠定了良好的语言基础。 step 4 memory challenge(记忆大考验)1. enjoy two videos, and please remember the appearance of those persons in the two videos. and then , please tell us “ what does he/ she look like?”2. give a few minutes to students, let them work in pairs to discuss: what does the boy (大头儿子) look like ?he has he is his hands are what does the man (小头爸爸) look like ?he has he is his hands are what does jackie chan (成龙) look like in this movie ?he is he has what does liu yifei (刘亦菲) look like in this movie ?she is she has 本课时主要是对明星的外貌描述,根据1a和1b的练习设计出此项任务,是为了让学生们把所学的语言知识用到对明星外貌的描述,并且为下面的听力做准备。通过大量的口头训练更加深了学生对语言的理解与运用。step5. listening 2a / 2b1. focus attention on the picture in 2a. tell class there are two famous persons in the picture. try to guess their jobs. then listen and write their jobs and looks in the chart to finish 2a and 2b.johnny deantina brownjoblooks like2. focus attention on the information in the chart. let class ask and answer questions about the chart. t: now try to describe johnny deans look.ss: what does johnny dean looks like?t: looks or look?s15: what does johnny dean look like?t: right. we should use “look” here.3. listen to the tape again. let class try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation in the tape. while students are listening, let class try to find some difficulties in words and sentence structures. 由于教材中设计的听力训练中有 “looks like”, 这样便给学生形成一个误区, 在特殊疑问句中look是否要加 “s”? 我有意将以上句型作为训练的重点,并让学生根据自己现有的知识来判断正误,这为了后面的任务的有效开展做好铺垫。step6. guessing game1. show the demands to students(四人一组从所给出的图片中选一个来描述让别人猜,描述要清晰,如果对方猜不出来,就算失败,被猜出来的话,双方都有奖品.) 以对话形式来表演: a 为猜测方(别组的同学); b 为描述方.2. give an example: 周笔畅(short brown hair / tall and thin / like a man )s16: who is your favorite star ?s17: can you guess ? i can tell you he /she is a movie actor / singer / s18: what does he /she look like ?s19: he/she has / he/she is / he/she do you know who he /she is?s20: 3. give students a few minutes to prepare in groups.4. check it .这个任务是对前面所学所练任务的一个升华,也是对教材2c的升华.考验同学们对所学知识的运用能力,因为表达不清楚的话,对方是无法猜出来,而且这是带有奖品的活动,所以同学们的积极性都被调动起来了。让课堂达到一个高潮。当然同学们讨论出的信息,也将为后面的笔头练习打下基础。step7. writing(让学生课前准备一张自己偶像的照片或海报)t: i know some students have brought some pictures of their favorite person. now lets invite them to describe the famous person they like.s21: my favorite musician is jay chou. he is of medium height and has short brown hair. he has two small eyes, but he is very cool. he likes basketball and chicken. s22: pan changjiang is heavy and short. he has short black hair. i like him. he loves to tell jokes. he never stops talking. he was in that great movie last month.s23: my favorite player is allen iverson. he is tall. but he is shorter than yao ming. hes of medium build. he has black hair and eyes. he works in nba. s24: my favorite actor is jackie chan. he is of medium height. he has black hair and a big nose.s25: my favorite player is yao ming. he is very tall and strong. he has short, straight black hair. he is on nba basketball team. he plays basketball very well. i love him.s26: s27: 这个是对教材2c的一个拓展,从简单的口头练习转到笔头练习.通过前面大量的口头练习,同学们已经掌握大量材料,足以让这些材料形成一篇小文章,并且为了激发学生的想象力,我还向同学们展示了明星三十年后的样子,让学生们去描述,这样不仅可以巩固前面所学,还可以拓展词汇量.最后我设计了一个与之相关的家庭作业.step8. summary 1. review and learn some useful words and expressions: (tall , thin, long curly hair, medium height, long blonde hair, pop singer, movie actor, black hair, has a beard, wears glasses )2. review and practice these useful sentences: what does look like ? he/she has he/she is he/she is of step9. homeworkt: write an article about a member in your family.what does he/she look like? and what will he or she look like in 30 years?这一家庭作业是对本课所学知识的一个汇总,也是为下一节课的写作练习打好基础。八、板书设计:unit 8what does he look like ?section b(1a2c)beard what does he /she look like ? jaychouglasses he/she is medium height have a beard he/she has short brown hairwear glasses he/she is of two small eyes cool. .九、教学反思:亮点: 1、在图片的选择方面:由于七年级学生的年龄特征,他们对形象的事物特别感兴趣,尤其对新新人类更是喜欢。针对此特点,我精挑细选了大量的人物图片,让每个图片都具有代表性,如:高个姚明;矮个潘长江;胖的韩红;瘦的周笔畅等等。满足了学生好奇心的同时,也激发了学生的学习兴趣,使他们在轻松愉悦的氛围中练习了目标语言。2、在情境的创设方面:本课“describe appearances ”这一话题来源于生活,也终究
