lesson6 hows the weatherin ellia?(第1课时)【教学目标】1认知目标:听懂会说会认sunny, cloudy, dry , rainy等表示不同天气的单词,学会i felt a drop of rain .look at those clouds. hows the weather ? 等句型,并能大方自然地运用于交际中。2能力目标:培养学生的探究意识和协作精神,培养学生的想象力、动手能力和综合运用的能力。3情感目标:增长学生的日常生活知识,提高学生学习英语的兴趣。 【教学重点、难点】1教学重点:能认、听、读、说、用本课要求掌握的新词新句。2教学难点:能熟练运用本课重点词句进行交际,并能在交际中灵活的扩展性运用。【教学准备】tape , ppt.一、leading.1.greeting .t:hello,boys and girls. ss:hello,teacher.2.revision. t:what do you want to be? s1: i want to be a . .t:what do you usually do after school? s2: i usually t:hows the weather today? s3: its t: now ,lets sing a song hows the weather? today , lets go on learning lesson 6 hows the weather in ellia?二、new lesson .1. study the sentences.t: boys and girls , look at the screen, then tell me what are those in the sky? ss: clouds .t: well, done . follow me , look at those clouds.ss; read this sentence after teacher .t:look at the screen , what is it? ss: rain . t: a drop of rain . ss: read after teacher.t:do you know something that can speak in a drop of. ? ss: look at the picture and say .t: good . boys and girls, there is a bottle of rain . oh, i felt a drop of rain .ss: feel and read this sentence .t:boys and girls,there are lots of clouds, we say its cloudy today ,but its raining,we can say its rainy today .now,please look at the picture ,then tell me hows the weather ?t: hows the weather ? ss: its warm . ss; practice with the sentence .2. listen to the tape .t:now ,please listen to the tape carefully,then answer the questions.a: who does sandy meet ? b:is it raining hard ? c:hows the weather in ellia?ss: listen then answer the questions .3.listen to the tape once more .ss:listen and repeat .t:ask students read the lesson .4.pairwork .ss:read the lesson in roles. then act in front .三、do the exercise .ss:look at the screen ,read the passage then answer the questions.t: check the answer .四、homework .ss: make a form about the weather of harbin.五、end the class .t: bye bye , class . ss; bye bye ,teacher . 板书设计:hows the weather in ellia?look at those clouds.i felt a drop of rain .hows the weather ? its . lesson6 hows the weather in ellia?(第2课时)1、教材分析:本单元围绕“天气”这一题材展开,并针对天气状况进行询问、预报、统计及讨论、确定相应的活动。学习hot,cool,cold, sunny, windy, cloudy等表示天气状况的形容词。巩固练习句型hows the weather in ? its 。通过用中学、学中用、反复实践、学用结合的方式,促进了学生语言技能的发展。 2、学情分析:五年级的学生求知欲强,已具有较好的理解能力和初步进行简单日常交流的能力。喜欢接受直观、生动、有趣的信息。而不喜欢枯燥、无味的东西。因此,在教学方法,学习策略上要多下一些功夫才能达到事半功倍的效果。 教学目标 (1)知识目标:巩固练习句型hows the weather there? 以及学习表示天气状况的形容词。 (2)能力目标:能够用英文表达天气情况。培养学生的口语交际能力。 (3)情感目标:培养学生热爱自然,享受自然的情趣。 教材处理 重点与难点:依据以上对教学内容和教学目标的分析,我认为对形容词及交际性语言的学习和训练是本课的重点及难点。 教学策略 1、教学方法:我采用情景法、直观法、多媒体辅助法、全身反映法等教学方法。坚持以话题为核心,以功能、结构为主线,以任务型活动安排本课教学。由英语天气预报开始,创设外语语言氛围,激发学生的学习兴趣,使学生在参与天气情况的表述活动中,掌握知识,发展能力。 2、学习方法:鼓励学生独立思考,勇于探究。通过让学生分角色表演和情景对话,对新知识进行巩固。通过做游戏对学生所学知识点进行训练,从而达到巩固知识的目的。3、评价方法:以男女生竞赛的方式贯穿整课,激发学生的竞争意识,培养他们的的合作精神。【教学过程】i. before listening:the weather song.ii. warm up:1. free talk and greetings.hello, everyone.hows the weather today?itsits beginning of spring. its still cold.do you like this season?yes/no.but i dont like it. which season do you like? i like.and what did you do in your favorite season? at first, let me show you some key words. can you guess what did i do ?出示词组ride a bike go to the museumfly a kite make a birthday cake2. review(1) actiondo you remember sandys family? they are in their vacation. at this time, i want 5 people to make a group and act the story in p.74(2) main sentences theyre the main sentences in the last lesson. who can finish them? first blank1. its _ to be fine in a _.2. tino _ to play in the rain.3. hows the weather in eilla?4. its _ and _ in the _. you have good memory.iii. presentation you know, we live in the earth. its a large planet, we have lots of places to go.sandy, billy and their friends go to the different places in their vacation. they talk about the weather by the phone.lets listen to the story, before that, i have some questions for you. who can read these questions?1图(问题1:hows the weather there?问题2:what did sandy and billy going to do?)(边听课文录音边看文中图片,思考问题。)who has different ideas?234图略(自读课文,让学生自己从对话中寻找问题。进入生成性的课堂阶段。)this time please read the dialogue by yourselves, and try to ask a question about it. (读课文)lets repeat this chant. iv. practice (第一部分:引导学生了解不同季节的天气,并会表达什么季节穿什么衣服。)t: hows the weather in spring in harbin? s: its warm and dry.t: look at the picture. i wear a jacket, jeans in spring. what do you wear in spring?my name is cody. im in australia. im going to take careof animals in this vacation.its very hot in march in australia. you can go to the beach and swim there. i wear a shirt and shorts here. but it is quite different from canada. its very cold in march.sandy wears a coat and boots there. its winter in canada. in harbin, its a little cold in march. but its going to be warm in april.(第二部分:使学生了解在相同的时间不同地域有不同的天气,并让学生会表达在相应的季节里做什么活动)iv. homework 1. 听录音,模仿文中语音语调。2. 记录下四季的天气,并说一说你的穿着以及做的事情。lesson6 hows the weather in ellia?(第3课时)【教材分析】本节课是eec小学英语教材五年级下册第六课第三课时。单元内容为有关天气的交际用语,另外,通过学习有关天气的英语表达方式,还要让学生了解地球上有很多气候不同的国家。作为第一课时教学内容,主要是通过chant的呈现,让学生初步了解有关季节和天气的部分表达方式,为下面的学习做准备。【学情分析】 本课学习的主体是小学五年级的学生,他们已经具有了一定的英语语言基础、学习习惯及能力,如,本课将要学到的一些有关季节与天气的表达方式部分学生之前已经有所了解。同时,略显害羞的他们思维更加成熟、理性。因此,教师应善于激发其主动意识,用热情感染他们,用活动吸引他们,用贴近生活的任务调动他们,发挥其优势,全面提高学生的英语能力及综合素养。【教学目标】 通过本节课学习,学生能够听、说、读、(写)、使用重点单词及短语:season, weather, clouds, drop of rain, pour, wet, come out等。能够掌握并运用重点句型which season do you like best?及其答语来表达自己对某个季节的喜爱;能够掌握并运用重点句型hows the weather?及其答语描述不同的天气状况。能够将所学单词、句子运用到实际生活中。学生的英语素养及世界文化意识得以提高。教学重点、难点:掌握教学目标中所提出的重点单词和短语,理解并熟练运用两个重点句型及其答语。另外,本节课较多新词汇和新句型的出现,成为一项教学难点。【教学思路】 “创设生活化英语情境,让学生们快乐地学习英语。”是我的教学理念。根据英语课程标准的要求,结合二级教学目标我设计了本课较丰富的教学活动。其中,我以任务型教学为途径,以活动型教学为模式,将贴近学生生活的“季节”与“天气”话题贯穿始终,让学生们在生动的模拟情境“云-雨-晴”过程中感知英语,在快乐的游戏情境中操练英语,在开放的生活情境中应用英语,进而实现教学目标,发展学生英语能力。【教学过程】 一、歌曲热身,情境导入1.上课伊始,师生互致问候。t: i m your new friend, lisa! hello, boys and girls!ss: hello, lisa.2.师生共同演唱歌曲i love the sun。t&ss: i love the sun, i love the sun, i love the sun, and the sun loves me! i love the rain, i love the rain, i love the rain, and the rain loves me.(通过歌曲演唱,自然创设出有关天气的情境,为下一步学习做准备。)3.师生进行轻松的对话交流。t: its sunny today. what season is it now?s1: its summer.t: how many seasons are there in a year? what are they?s2: spring, summer, fall and winter.t: great. lets say it together!ss: spring, summer, fall and winter. 教师将四个季节的图片逐一展示在黑板之上。t: you know this is my first time to come to mudanjiang. hows the weather in the spring here?s3: its warm.t: can you spell warm? 教师在春天的图片旁边板书warm一词。t: what about summer?s4: its hot.t: can you spell hot? 教师在夏天的图片旁边板书hot一词。t: hows the weather in the fall here?s5: its cool.t: can you spell cool? 教师在秋天的图片旁边板书cool一词。t: what about winter?s6: its cold.t: can you spell cold? 教师在秋天的图片旁边板书cold一词。t: wow! what a wonderful place. the weather here is just like my citys. where am i from? can you guess?t: yeah. youre so clever. look here! im from harbin. is it beautiful? 通过多媒体展示哈尔滨的美景。ss: yes!t: thank you! its a beautiful place and i love it very much. would you like to chant with me?通过多媒体展示赞美哈尔滨的英文歌谣。ss: “welcome to harbin! welcome to harbin! what a beautiful place! what a beautiful place! its warm in the spring. its hot in the summer. its cool in the fall. its cold in the winter.”t: good job! i really hope that you would have a chance to come to harbin, and ill be your guide! ok?(在愉悦的情境交流中,师生共同进入有关季节与天气的情境中,并逐步展开重点知识的学习。)二、依托情境,讲授新知1.在师生对话交流中自然导入重点句型的学习。t: you know there are four seasons in a year and i like all of them. but which season do i like best? can you guess?t: yes. i like winter best. because harbin is very beautiful in the winter. 板书i like winter best.t: what about you? which season do you like best? 板书which season do you like best?s7: i like summer best.t: can you spell summer?s7: s-u-m-m-e-r, summer.t: which season do you like best?s8: i like winter best.t: why do you like it best? s8: i like skating. 师生间句型的问答在“我拍你闪”的游戏中进行。t: would you like to ask and answer with your partner? 同学们和自己的搭档一问一答在游戏中操练巩固句型。t: well, different people like different seasons. and its summer now. hows the weather in the summer? 板书hows the weather in the summer?s9: its hot.s10: its sunny.t: does it rain in the summer?ss: yes!2.通过多媒体展示逐一完成各重点单词和短语的学习。t: look! what are those in the sky? 通过多媒体展示多云情境,录音材料播放clouds, clouds, look at those clouds!t: those are clouds! follow me, clouds! 将“云彩”的图片和单词卡粘贴在黑板上,通过“high and low”这一小游戏操练单词,再请部分同学逐一说出完整语句look at those clouds!t: whats that? 通过多媒体展示雨滴落下情境,录音材料播放drop of rain, drop of rain, i felt a drop of rain.t: its a drop of rain. follow me, drop of rain! 将“雨滴”的图片和单词卡粘贴在黑板上,通过“slowly and fast”这一小游戏操练短语。t: i have a bottle of rain. look! oh, i felt a drop of rain. who wants to feel a drop of rain? 将一瓶水的外表粘贴上“rain”的标签,向学生示意这是一瓶雨水,教师示范性地滴在自己手上一滴雨,然后对学生说oh, i felt a drop of rain.再请同学们感受雨滴并说出完整的句子。t: look! its raining! 通过多媒体展示下雨情境。t: whats happening? 通过多媒体展示下大雨情境,录音材料播放pour, pour, its pouring now.t: oh! its pouring now! follow me, pour! 将“大雨”的图片和单词卡粘贴在黑板上,通过“lisa says”这一小游戏操练单词,再请同学们逐排说出完整语句oh! its pouring now!t: look at that girl! whats wrong with her? listen! 录音材料播放wet, wet. oh, i got very wet.t: she got very wet. follow me, wet! 将“湿”的图片和单词卡粘贴在黑板上,通过“look at my fingers”这一小游戏操练单词,再请部分同学带着动作很形象地说出完整语句oh, i got very wet.t: hey, boys and girls! i got very wet. i really need the sun! can you help me? listen! 录音材料播放come out, come out. the sun is coming out!t: follow me, come out. 将“太阳出来”的图片和单词卡粘贴在黑板上,通过“chant”这一小游戏操练短语。t: lets shout to the sun together, ok?ss: ok! come out! come out! come out! come out!t: wow! the sun is coming out! 通过多媒体展示雨过天晴情境。t: lets say it together! ss: the sun is coming out!三、完成练习,强化训练t: its sunny now! are you happy?
