Seals 说课稿Good afternoon, my teachers!Thank you for giving me the chance to talk about my teaching plan of seals.This passage can connect the life and act, emphasize the interest and experience of the Ss, Grade six is the developing stage of English learning, so it stresses on the emotion of the Ss, creates a well catching the imformation for the Ss. This passage has eleven parts, I devide it into three parts. The content of the first period is to learn : Where the seals like to live? The second part is to learn : How do the seals catch food? The third part is to learn the knowledge about the seal pups. Then I make the following three teaching aims of this period: Aims on knowledge: Enable students to grasp the new words: a tiny hole/ beach/ at ease/ dive into/lying upon/seal pups/leap in .Enable students to grasp the sentences: its not easy for/morethan/teachhowAims on ability: Improve students listening, speaking, writing, reading, commutative ability.Aims on emotion: Enable students to know it is important to protect the animals.Let them like the animals. The important point lies in how to get the importations from this passage.The difficult point lies in how to let students can grasp this passage.And I will use some cards, and the multi-media computer to help me achieve the aims. The task-based method, communicated method, group compitition method, make games will be used in this period. To accomplish the aims, I design the following steps: Beforing having the lesson, I design a preview card. To help students preview the passage better, and let them be intereted in this lesson.Step 1 Warming- UpFirst: Talk about the animals in the sea. In order to construct an atmosphere of learning the seals.Second: Enjoy some pictures of sea ainmals. At the same time the step can let Ss to relaxed, And can Lead to the new Lesson.Step 2 Presentention and Prctise First, show the picture of seals, let one group talk about the knowledge of seals, then show it on ppt.Then enter the passage. I design three challenges. Challenge one :skim through the passage, and find out the answers of three questions with your deskmates. Then tell Ss try to devide it into three parts. When Ss tell the answers, Ill explain the new words /phares/and sentences, and let Ss try to explain them in English. If one answers correctly, Ill give him an little sea animal card.In this way I can attract Ss attention, encourage Ss to catch the important imformations freely. Second: Enter into challenge 2, intensive reading , then choose task A or B to do, also can do both of them. Then we ll discuss and elect the self-taught experts, give them the animal cards. During this step, I ll go on explaning the new language points with the Ss.From this way, I can check the perview effect, let Ss remember the new content deeply, It make my Ss love this lesson. Third: Enter into challenge 3, read through the passage.Discuss the three questions in groups, ask other Ss, also can answer the questions. It can attack Ss attention, make the contents easy to grasp and consolidate.Step4 Talk about what you learned today.Let Ss review the passage during communicate with each other.Let Ss be actively.Step5 Choose the task to show what you leared.Encourage Ss to retell by the blackboard design or read the passage loudly and fluently.Giving the different tasks, it let every Ss get development.Step6: Draw and talk about the sea animals.Work in groups, and draw a picture ,try to descibe the sea animal use five sentences. Encourage Ss to learned to communicate with each other in their life, achieve the aim of mastering the learned knowledge in situation.Step5 HomeworkI design three kinds of homeworks for Ss.
