To learn how to introduce a famous person 2. To learn how to write a fan letter Difficulties and focuses 1. Make sure the students acquire the words and expressions and sentences above and use them freely during the period.2. Getting information through fast reading.3. Talking about different friends.4. Today were going to learn a famous TV personality in the US.A successful woman should be intelligent, determined, hard-working, energetic, strong, responsible, perseverant and endurable. Before learning the text, I will ask you two questions?Step one Warming upT: How do you think of black women? How do you think of a successful black woman?T:Now, please look at the screen. (show the picture of Oprah Winfrey )Step two Pre-readingT: questions1. Who is Oprah Winfrey? (Oprah is a famous black American host of a talk show called AM Chicago)2.
