教学目标与教学步骤的统一性探讨东莞市新世纪英才学校教学目标与教学步骤的统一性探讨英才学校 吴昌铭摘要：高效课堂的诸多因素中，准确的目标设计是前提，合理的教学步骤是基础，巧妙的课堂提问是关键。关键词：教学目标、教学步骤 问题的提出通过9、10两月的“推门课”听课活动，我们发现在部分课堂上还存在如下问题：目标定位不准确，重难点不突出，选用材料不典型，话题引入不巧妙，导学、点题不简明，深度、广度不合理，步骤、层次不清晰，课堂提问不精确，学生参与不积极等等。这些问题不解决，势必影响学生的学业成长。近年来，本校的英语高考、全市自查考试成绩一直在中游徘徊，有些班级甚至远低于全市平均分。如何提高本校的英语教学水平，如何提高英语学科的课堂效率已成为本校全体英语教育工作者必须面对的主要问题。本校成立了旨在全面提高本校课堂效率的“学科委员会”，带领全体老师从听课入手，从实际出发深入课堂去发现并研究本校课堂效率存在的问题；通过集体备课、评课、反思、总结等教研活动，以尽快提高本校的课堂效率，这为本小组成立提供了时机。教学的主阵地是课堂，教学效果的优劣取决于课堂效率的高低，而决定课堂效率高低的主要因素在于教学设计的科学度。要提高英语学科的课堂效率，就必须确立本校有效英语教学模式，而有效教学模式必须有科学的教案设计作为支撑。本校高一备课组成员全是30岁以下、只有13年教龄的青年教师，而高一年级是起始年级，该备课组老师的成长与否，将直接影响该年级的英语教学水平，如何尽快熟练掌握高中英语教学的基本技巧，成了该备课组老师正面临的问题。针对以上情况，我们选定有关针对课堂效率课题，分为如下若干小专题：如何设计教学目标（准确性），如何设计教学步骤（针对性），如何突出重难点（切入点），如何针对性提问（问题引导），如何高效讲、练（当堂解决）等小项目，本学期主要研究“教学目标和教学步骤的统一性”问题。计划流程1、根据校委会及学科委员会精神设置本课题，主要目的是提高课堂效率。2、从听课入手，重点关注教学目的准确性和教学步骤的科学性，强调高效课堂。3、集体备课，重点讨论教学目标的确立和教学步骤与目标的统一性；重视“问题引导”。4、课前反复讨论、修改教案，经课堂实践后，对照评估教学效果。5、及时评课-集体评课与个人评课相结合，强调和谐、统一。6、认真对照听课记录，对比组员在活动前后不同教学效果，及时总结，撰写成果汇报。研究小组成员及主要分工本研究小组由教研组长吴昌铭及高一英语备课组万利、赖梅莲、高艳琴共四位教师组成，组长制定课题及结题方案、阶段总结；全体组员集体备课，讨论具体课堂的教学目标和教学步骤的设计，按集体备课讨论后的教案在所任班级具体实践，讨论教学效果，写心得，然后全组成员共同写总结或论文。 研究方法及程序采用行动研究法，即通过听课、评课、反思活动，在我们自己的备课、上课过程中发现问题、解决问题。研究程序为：问题 设计 行动 反思 再行动 解决问题。强调在研究过程中学习“折中教学法”以便集众家之长，并体会“教学有法、教无定法、贵在得法”的实质内涵，与此同时，要求认真体会和理解陈主任的“问题引导法”， 完善我们教学过程中的 “引入”、“实施”、“小节”等教学步骤。研究重点是阅读课的教学目标和教学步骤的设计，然后对此活动前后教学效果，获得亲身体验后，全体成员共同撰写研究报告。研究涉及的相关教学理论、资料来源1、相关教学理论：重点学习“折中教学法”和问题引导法”，强调采用启发、互动式教学模式。2、资料来源：课本为主，本学科教学专刊、网络资料为辅。 主要研究内容：不同课型的教学目标设计；教学步骤高效服务于教学目标的教案设计；如何与教学目标高度吻合的课堂提问。 百余年来，西方外语教学界 各种外语教学法流派在不同时期都对我国英语教学产生过不同程度的影响。但是无论是语法翻译法（GrammarTranslation Method ）、直接法（Direct Method）、视听法（Audio visual Approach）、功能法（ Functional Approach ）还是交际法（Communicative Approach），都有各自的长处和不足，单一地使用以上任意一种教学方法都不太适宜，因此，博采众家之长、避开各派之短的“折中法”，受到国内越来越多的英语教育工作者的青睐,如华东师范大学第一附属中学的张思中老师的16字外语教学法、西南师范大学张正东教授的“立体教学法”、华东师范大学章兼中教授的“十字教学法”都明显体现了综合、折中的思想。本校办学10多年来，我们的高中英语教学也一直受到各种英语教育流派的“困扰”。 办学之初我们的高中英语教学思路主要是依据传统的教学理论；新课标颁布以后，“淡化语法”的英语教学模式与“传统”英语教学方法开始出现冲突，因此，我们也曾有过“要不要教单词、语法”的争论。后来我们发现，忽视系统的规律性的语法知识传授“交际法”存在明显的缺陷，单凭“交际法”不利于学生英语水平的提高，仅以此法来应对高考也明显不够。我校学生来源广，同一个班的生源结构复杂，“免费生”、“公办生”、“民办生（、）”的英语水平参差不齐，在这种形势下，我们选择集各家之长的“折中之路”。任何有效的教学模式都强调启迪学生的思维，课堂教学的各个环节都离不开必不可少的针对性提问。“启发式课堂”与“填鸭式”课堂的根本区别也在于课堂上师生是否“善问”。强调交际功能的英语语言教学缺少了巧妙的课堂提问是不可想象的。“问题引导、当堂解决”是本校校委会主任、教育专家陈冠龙为本校老师提出的课堂教学原则，如何根据教育对象、教学内容设计巧妙的课堂提问，是本校包括英语组在内的广大教师在备课、上课过程中首要考虑的问题，有针对性强而又生动的课堂提问，才能把各个教学步骤有效地协调起来为教学目标服务，从而实现教学目标，取得较好的教学效果。多年来本校教师一直注意巧妙设计适量的课堂问题，取得了很好的教学效果。对于青年教师来说，尽快学会结合教育对象、教学内容、教学目标设计巧妙的课堂提问，跟学会准确设计教学目标及合理的教学步骤一样的重要。笔者认为，在构成高效课堂的诸多要件中，教学目标设计准确与否以及教学步骤合理与否是首要的，是“战略”层面的问题；而课堂提问巧妙与否，是达成教学目标的关键所在，可以看做“战术”层面的问题，只有把这两个层面的问题同时进行研究，我们“高效课堂”的研究目标才有可能实现。在本校高一备课组研究这类问题具有现实意义，是非常必要的。教学目标与教学步骤统一性探讨案例 小组成立后，针对我们课堂教学设计中存在目标和步骤相矛盾现象，我们围绕“教学目标”与“教学步骤”的设计问题，从检查教师的课堂教学设计入手。发现问题后，经集体讨论修改，然后指定小组内某位老师按修改后的教学设计进行公开课教学，全组老师共同观摩，并认真观察、记录其教学过程，着重关注其目标设计准确与否以及教学步骤的科学性程度。课后，全组老师对该堂课进行了全面评价，充分肯定了修改后的教学设计的合理性及其所带来的理想教学效果。以下是本小组万利老师在高一（6）班进行“基础写作”的公开课案例。高一级英语集体备课案例主备 万利课题 Basic Writing教学目标 How to make up a passage within 5 sentences教学重难点 The combining words between sentences教法 Conclusion and Practice教学准备Review 5 simple sentences第一次备课教案教学目标：向学生介绍有关“基础写作”的要求和基本方法教学方法：讲授式Step 1. Step 3 Reading Let students read the model essay together Step 4 Homework Write a passage within 5 sentences 分析与诊断 从教案中的教学步骤安排及“教学目标”的描述来看，教师的出发点是要向学生介绍“基础写作”的要求及基本方法，其教学模式的实质是“教师中心”，其核心内容是由教师首先向学生“灌输”其第一个步骤中所罗列的“the completeness of the content，the precision of the sentence，the passage hang together”。可以想象，在这种“填鸭式”的教学模式下，学生只能被动地听老师“侃侃而谈”，肯定不能获得师生互动的模式下的“亲身体验”，那么，其教学效果必然会大打折扣。第一次修改后教案教学目标：向学生介绍有关“基础写作”的要求和基本方法。Step 1. Reading aloudLet students read the model essay togetherStep 4 Homework Write a passage within 5 sentences分析与诊断 经过修改后，其教学步骤有所调整，但是其教学路子（approach）仍然局限于“教师中心”模式。其教学目标描述仍然是：向学生介绍有关“基础写作”的要求和基本方法。可见其教学指导思想和出发点依然是以教师为主体，强调教师“教”的作用。其教学步骤设计过于简单，同时也体现了“教师的中心”的教学思路。比如，其第一个教学环节（Revision）是要求学生指出教师所给的5个句子的基本类型。在以“复习”为目的（而不是以“检查”为目）的教学步骤中，教师完全可由学生回忆乃至写出简单句的五种基本句型，教师根本不必也不应该直接把5个句子展现出来让学生进行简单地判断。这种教师直接给出5个句子的做法过于简单，没有挑战性，不能充分调动学生积极思维，势必影响学生的学习兴趣。再次修改后教案Teaching goal: Learn how to write a concise passage with five sentences Step 1. Presentation 1) Greet the whole class, and ask them some questions (问题引导):“Hello, everybody！You all look healthy and excited. It seems to me that well have another good time in this period of class. Thats very good. Do you still remember the five basic sentence patterns we learnt in the last period of class? Whod like to tell us the patterns orally or write it out on the blackboard? Whod like to write some sentences in the patterns? Whod like to have a try?”2) Revision through discussing（过渡性话语）“Thats very good. Now, lets see what he/she has written on the blackboard, and go over the patterns together.”3）Get Ss to discuss the sentences on the black and correct some possible mistakes together with the whole class. And write the following patterns under the sentences o n the blackboard. Writing 1）Lead-in: “ When we tell others in written language, well have to write our ideas properly in passages. Now, in this period of class, well learn how to write passage in a topic within five sentences.(引出本堂课的教学目的) 2） Give the background information Questions (引导性提问和鼓励性话语调动情绪): Do you like making friends? Do you like chatting with strangers on the Internet? Do you have any on-line friends? Do you think it a good thing or bad thing to make friend with strangers on the Internet? To these questions, different people may have different answers or opinions. Whats your opinion? Whod like to write his or her opinion on the blackboard in five sentences? 3） Brainstorm (群策群力，打开思路)Get the class to discuss and list out some advantages and disadvantages and some phrases or expressions that may be possibly used in the passage. 4）Divide the class into two groups. One group will write down some advantages while the other write some disadvantages on the blackboard 5）Two volunteers from each group write a passage within five sentences to sate the advantages and disadvantages as well as their opinions on the black, while the rest of the class will write theirs on their own. (Remind them to put the ideas logically using some necessary conjunctions so as to make the passage better understood) Step 3 Checking-up 1) Get some volunteers to check the passages, trying to find some possible mistakes as well as the well-written sentences (特别提醒标题与内容是否吻合). 2) A brief comment (用鼓励性话语) Step 4 Conclusion and conductions (学法引导)1)（启发性提问,请学生回答）：Do know how to put your ideas in a short passage now? Do you know what we should do before writing a short passage? What should we do first? 2) (概括学生的回答并升华引导) The first thing we do is to think over carefully what were going to write and set down a proper topic. Next, well list some words, phrases, or sentences structures. And then well put the ideas in five sentences in a proper order using some necessary conjunctions. Besides, well have to read it carefully and make some necessary changes.
