冠 词冠词是英语十大词类之一,本身不能单独使用,只能用在名词前,分为不定冠词(a,an)和定冠词(the),在英语中,冠词的数量最少,但用法比较复杂,易出错。一、不定冠词的用法1、指人或事物的某一类。如：She is a girl. This is a sheep,not a goat. A dictionary is useful to a student. A bird is our friend.2、泛指某人或某物，但不具体说明是哪个人或哪个物。如：A doctor called you just now. A teacher is reading at the reading-room now.3、表示数量，相当于“one”，但数的概念没有one强烈。如：There is a cat in the box. She has a round face. I want an apple.4、指首次提出的某人或某物，但不具体指出是何人或何物。如：This is a picture.The picture is mine.5、用语固定的词组中。如：a bit , a lot of , a little , a pair of , a kind of , a number of , a piece of , have a look , go out for a walk Lets have a rest after lunch.6、在感叹句中，如果what要修饰的词是可数名词的单数，需和不定冠词连用。如：What a kind old woman ! What an interesting story it is !7、such要修饰的名词是可数名词的单数时，也要和不定冠词连用。如：Ive never seen such a strange(古怪的) man .二、定冠词的用法 定冠词the几乎可以用于所用形式或类别的名词前。1、特指某（些）人或某（些）物。如：The woman in blue is her mother . What do you think of the TV play ?2、指谈话双方都知道的人或事物，但若有代词修饰则不用冠词。如：Where is the girl ? Kate took the watch away . The teacher is in the office ./ The teacher is in his office .3、特指上文提到的人或物。如：There is a river in our hometown . In summer we often go swimming in the river.4、用于世界上独一无二的事物前。如：The earth goes /runs around the sun. We can see a lot of stars in the sky.5、用在序数词和形容词的最高级前。如：The first lesson is easy for us. He is the tallest of the three.6、用在表示方位的词前。如：Guangzhou is in the south of China. His picture is on the right.7、用于表示江河、山脉和一些由普通词构成的专有名词前，但如果普通名词构成的专有名词中有汉语拼音时，一般不用the。如： the Summer Palace the Great Wall The CPC was founded on July 1,1921.8、用在姓氏复数前表示一家人或夫妻二人。如：The Greens flew to England this morning . The Turners are having supper now.9、与某些形容词连用，表示一类人。如：The young must be polite to the old. She tries her best to help the poor.10、用于固定词组中。如：by the way , in the morning (afternoon,evening) , the day after tomorrowplay the piano (violin, flute, trumpet)He has a farm at the foot of the hill.My sister is at the head of the line.The twins look the same.三、零冠词1、专有名词前不用冠词，如国度、地名、人名等。如：China , America Mr.White comes from London.2、不可数名词表示一般意义时。如：Snow is white. Paper is made from wood .3、名词复数表示类别时。如：They are teacher. Children like reading stories.4、名词前已经有作定语的this，that，my，your，some，any等代词时。如：Whats in your bag? This pen is mine .5、节日、日期、月份、季节前。如：on Teachers Day on Friday in October in winter Spring comes after winter.6、在称呼语或表示头衔的名词前。如：Wheres my book,mum?
