unit 6 i like music that i can dance to period4教案一、教材内容分析本单元的核心语言项目是express preferences(表达喜好),以“音乐”为话题,开展教学活动,学习who/that 引导的定语从句。音乐是学生们非常受欢迎的话题,它会引起学生们极大的兴趣,这对于操练目标语言是非常有帮助的。通过本单元的学习,学生们在使用定语从句方面会取得极大的进步。本课内容为该单元的第四课时,它通过提供更多的听力练习来达到在口头会话中训练学生们理解目标语言的能力。它也提供了一些说和写的活动。学生可以运用目标语言做很好的操练。 二、教学目标1knowledge object(知识目标)the target language: the relative clause with that/who2ability objects(能力目标)(1) train the students listening ability.(2) train the students ability to understand the target language in spoken conversation.(3) train students ability to use the target language.3moral object(情感目标)i have my own favorite things in my life.thats why i am enjoying the life.三、教学过程step 1: reviewing and warming up复习热身(4 minutes)要求学生用that、 who 引导的定语从句谈论自己喜欢的光盘、音乐、组合、歌手和音乐家,尽可能多地造句。学生三人小组操练,然后汇报调查结果。ask the following questions on cds, music , groups, singers and musicians. help the students to answer with the target language.whats the name of your favorite cd/music/group/? why do you like it?or what kind of singers/ do you like best? why?then ask the students to make a survey of the students around them and do some notes. ask several students to report their results of the survey to the class and help them to say like this.i like music that i can sing along with. rosa likes music thats quiet and gentle. peter prefers music that has great lyrics.i love who write their own music. li hong prefers singers who are good-looking. susan loves singers who are tall and beautiful. 【 设计说明:通过这一活动, 达到运用目标语言复习旧话题、引出新话题之目的 。方框的词可通过重读或板书作为空格考查用。】step 2: discussing and filling the chart 讨论填表 ( 8 minutes)让学生进行小组讨论,谈论自己最喜欢的书籍、乐队和影片,把讨论的结果填在1 的表格里,再报告组内结果。ask, whats your favorite band? let one of the students answer it. then repeat the questions on favorite book and favorite movie. write the three questions on the blackboard.get the students to ask and answer in pairs. then ask the class to open the books. look at section b on page 47 , part 1. read the instructions to the students. tell them to complete the chart on their own. move around the classroom while the children are writing, giving help if necessary.after all of them have finished writing, ask some children to read their answers to the class and share the favorite book with the classmates after class. collect the answers from different students. record the results on the board. discuss what the class favorites are and ask students to tell why they like each band, book or movie.what are your favorite band, book and movie? fill in the chart on page 47 with their names. band超越beyond 逃亡乐队the runaways飞儿乐团fir唐朝乐队tang dynasty后街男孩backstreet boys五月天maysuper junior book傲慢与偏见pride and prejudice安徒生童话fairy tales by hans christian andersen星空starry night简爱jane eyre 飘gone with the wind鲁滨逊漂流记robinson crusoe红与黑red and blackmovie 加菲猫garfield阿甘正传forrest gump罗马假日roman holiday三国three kingdoms哈利波特harry potter欢乐糖果屋 willy wonka and the chocolate factory 音乐之声sound of music外星人 et 【 设计说明:在这一活动中,学生们运用that、 who 引导的定语从句作说和写的操练。同时,在讨论中,整合学科知识,拓宽学生的知识面。】step 3: 2a listening and writing听写练习( 5 minutes)让学生们先看图,猜测michael and和ali 之间的对话内容,然后再听,写下他们正在谈论的三件东西,看他们的预测是否正确。read the instructions to the class. make sure each one knows what to do. first tell the students to have a look at the picture and let them guess what they are talking about.ill see who is good at guessing the answers. say, we will hear two boys, michael and ali, talking about some of the things they see in the room. the task of us is to write out the three things that they are talking about.play the tape the first time. tell the children just to listen to it carefully and try to get the main idea and not to write.then play the recording again. tell them to write down the answers this time.ask a student to tell the answer of the first line, then ask the others if they agree with him. do the same with the other two answers. if they got different answers, tell them to listen careful when we do the practice in activity 2b.check the answers.answers; 1a jacket 2a book 3a movie poster【 设计说明:这一活动,一是训练学生们的观察能力和预测能力,二是训练学生们在听的过程中抓关键信息的能力。】step 4: 2b listening and writing听写练习( 8 minutes)让学生先看表格,理解表格的意思,帮助他们弄清应该听什么、填什么,然后带着问题去听并速记含定语从句的句子。read the instructions to the students. make sure each student knows what they should do while they listen to the tape.ask the students to have a look at the chart in activity 2b. there are two columns in it.tell the children they will write what michael likes in the first column and they will write why he likes it in the second column. go over the contents in the chart with the children. tell them to note the sample answers.let them guess the other answers in the first column. yeah, maybe the same ones with the answers in activity 1, but we are not sure now. then tell them to get what writers and movies michael likes while they are listening. encourage them to ask questions they may have met.play the recording and ask the children to fill in the answers. pause the tape if necessary. ask several students to tell the answers and see if the others have different ones. play the tape again if the students need to listen to it again. correct the answers. if time is enough, play the tape again and the students repeat after it. check the answers.what michael likeswhy he likes itjackethe likes clothes that are unusual.bookhe likes writers who explain things well.moviehe loves movies that are about monsters.【 设计说明:这一活动主要训练学生抓关键信息的能力,让学生们带着目的去听有效信息,提高听的准确度。】step 5: 2c doing groupwork小组活动,说写操练(8 minutes)给出示例,让学生仿照谈论自己喜欢和不喜欢的东西并给出相应的理由。present the dialogue in this activity with a student first;t: i like movies that are romantic. i love titanic.s: oh, i dont. i like movies that have big wars. i really like the doctora real soldier.then ask the children to open the books at page 47. read the instructions in activity 2c. say, we will discuss our favorite things from activity 1 and say why we like each thing.ask two students to read the sample conversation. then ask the students to discuss their favorite bands, books and movies in groups of four. try to use the sentences with the attributive clause we have met in this unit to help to make conversations. walk around in the classroom and offer help if they need.
