完形填空上课流程I. Warming up (2分钟) (老师用手在脸上作擦汗动作,问学生) Im sweating /sweti/. Is it hot? (学生回答yes时,老师接着说)Its because not only its hot today but also Im feeling nervous. (老师鼓励学生说:) Dont be nervous. If you are nervous, I will be more nervous than you. Its not good for our lesson today. So please be more confident. OK? (老师在黑板上写出: Be confident. )II. Presentation (8分钟)Now lets get down on our business(言归正传)。Today we are going to learn “How to deal with Cloze Tests”. (播放幻灯片第一张,并在黑板上写出:Cloze test。让学生猜是什么意思。这时老师不 妨作适当解释:)That means we have to read an incomplete(不完整的) article with many blanks, then we decide what words should be put into the blanks. (问学生: Understand me? 引导学生说出“完形填空”来。然后老师说: You got it. How clever you are! )So first, lets look at an incomplete article on the screen.(播放幻灯片第2,3张,因为这两张幻灯片是一篇文章。老师说:)Please try your best to get the main idea of the story very quickly.(给学生2分钟时间,提醒学生:)Please pay more attention to the first sentence/ paragraph or the last sentence/paragraph. Now go ahead, please.(2分钟后问学生:) Whats the main idea of this story?(学生回答:) When anything happens, believe in yourself.(老师及时表扬学生:) Thats right. You are really smart!(然后在黑板上 Be confident 后写出 -Believe in yourself. 接着说: Yes, the story tells us no matter what happens to you, you should be confident and believe in yourselves. Dont worry so much or lose your heart. OK?III. Groupwork (20 分钟) (播放幻灯片4,5. 将学生分成6组。每组指定一名组长,由他(她)组织讨论每空该填什么词(给学生10分钟准备。10分钟后叫其中3组组长把他们讨论的结果快速写在黑板上(遇到写不出的先空着,留在最后讨论)。等学生写完后播放第七张幻灯片,让学生一起对照幻灯片和黑板,看他们写对的、相似的或相近的有多少个。老师及时肯定和鼓励学生。 然后再组织学生小组讨论幻灯片上的选项,该选什么答案。3分钟后叫另外3组组长向全班报告讨论结果。同时,老师问他们选择这些选项的理由依据是什么。)老师的串词: Now, can you guess what word should be put into each blank? To begin with, Id like to divide the class into 6 groups. And one of you will be the leader of your group. Who wants to be the leader? Hands up, please. I think its time for you to discuss what kind of word should be fill in. Ill give you 10 minutes to discuss in groups. Do it now, please. Time is up. Are you ready? Lets share your discussions. Groups 1, 2, 3. Come to the front and write your answers on the Bb. (2minutes later, show Slide 7) OK, lets see the given choices. Wow, you are closer. You have got many of them. Im really proud of you! Now, boys and girls, Ill give you two more minutes to choose the right answer in groups. (2 mins later) Have you finished? Group 4, please tell us your answers from 1to 5. Group5 from 6 to 10. And group 6, the last 5, please. Conclusion (播放幻灯片8,9) 边解释边回到原文。(5分钟) Well. Lets come back to the topic of “How to deal with cloze tests”. Step 1: Try to know about the main idea. We should pay more attention to the beginning or the ending of the story. Step 2: Do with the problems from easy ones to difficult ones, looking ahead or looking back, finding the suggestive(暗示)words. Step 3:Read the story again to see if its fluent or perfect in the meaning, in logic or in grammar. In a word, we should consider the story as a whole. Not individually.V.
