(2) try to answer the question: why was nancys mother angry with her? did they solve the problem? how?2. careful reading(1) read the passage and answer the following questions. what did nancy do when she cameback home from school last month? what did her mother want her to do? why didnt she do when her mother told her? did nancy and her mother do the housework the whole week? what did nancy understand ?(2) read the whole passage and check the answers.(3) read the passage again and find out the difficult points.the minute sb. does sth.= as soon as someone does smething 某人一做某事就neither的用法 neither用作形容词,表示“(两者)都不”,置于单数名词之前。 e.g. neither watch is made in beijing. neither用作代词,表示“两者都不,双方均不”。 e.g. neither of them like walking in the morning. neither用作连词,常用短语为neither.nor.,表示“既不也不”。 e.g.neither he nor i am well educated. neither用作副词,作“也不”解释,放在句首,表示前面否定的内容也适用于另一个人或物,句子须采用部分倒装。此时也可用nor替换neither使用。 e.g. i dont want to show my article to my friends. neither / nor do i. asas 和一样 e.g. im just as tired as you are!=youre tired, but im tired, too.(4) discuss and try to use the useful expressions in groups. last month, welcome, come from, throw down, the minute, in front of, come over, reply angrily, all the time, help out, all day, all evening, as tired as, shout back, walk away, neither did i, a clean shirt, the next day, find clean and tidy, in surprise, understand,need to share.
