Aims on knowledge: (1). To learn the emails from Kitty to her e-friend Gary . Be able to read , listen ,and know about the massage about Kitty . (2) . To finish the table about Kitty according to the emails .(3). To according the tables to retell the passages . (4). To complete exercises on P46 , and help Gary to write back to Kitty .2. Aims on ability: (1). To train the pupils ability of listening, reading and speaking skills. (2). To train the pupils ability of repeating skills. (3). To know how to write an e-mail .3. Aims on emotion: To train the pupils to communicate with each other through the internet and know how to write an e-mail .Important points: (1). To learn the emails from Kitty to her e-friend Gary . Be able to read , listen ,and know about the massage about Kitty . (2). To finish the table about Kitty according to the emails . (3). To learn the right form of email .Measure:According to the questions to help the Ss to solve the table .Difficult points: To repeat the passage on page 38 and use the right form to write an email for Gary .Measure:Use the PPT and blackboard deign to help them to repeat the passage and use the table on page40 to help the Ss to finish the emails .Teaching methods: communicative method, task-based method and student - centered teaching.Teaching aids: cassette and a cassette player, pictures and computerTeaching Procedures:Step1: Pre-task preparation:1. Warming up (1). Greeting with each other use the daily expressions . Such as : Good morning . Nice to see you again . Long time no see , How are you going today ? ( T and Ss , Ss and Ss )(2). Say a chant to relax . Whatareyoudoingnow? Iamreadingnow. Whatareyoudoingnow? Iamjumpingnow. Whatareyoudoingnow? Iamrunningnow. Whatareyoudoingnow? Iamlaughingnow. Hihihihihahahahahaha.(3) Before the lesson , I will devide you into four groups , if someone in your group did a very good job , I will give your team some praise . At the end of this lesson , choose the best group , you are the NO. 1 . 2. Talking and saying Using the sentence patterns we have learnt to ask and answer . T: Would you like to have an e-friends in other countries ? S1: Yes , Id like to have an e-friend in . T: What would you like to know about your e-friend ? S1: Id like to know about . family hobbies school life favourit animals favourite food favourite subjects (T goes around the classroom and ask some of them , they should use the sentence patterns to talk and say ) Step2: While-task procedure1. Leading in T: I have an e-friend in the US. Do you have any e-friends ? Ss: Yes .T: As we know Jill and Joe have e-friends . Theyre from the UK and Australia . What about Kitty ? Does Kitty have e-friends ?Ss: No . T: Kitty would like to have an e-friends in the US . Yes or no ?Ss: Yes .T: OK , today lets get in an email from Kitty to her e-friends .2. Learn the emails (1). First , T shows out the flash , ask them to watch carefully and know something about the passage . (2). Then showing out some questions , have the Ss to read and know them . Next , lead the Ss to learn the part1 and part2 . Try to find out the answers to questions 1-5 . Then fill the table on the blackboard . A: Showing out the flash , listen and read . Ask the Ss to find out the answers . (If they did very well , change their level .) B: Choose some of them to answer and fill the table . C: Then , ask them to read the sentences following the radio . D: After that , have them to read again by themselves . (3) Through the group works to solve the last part .A: Ask them to work in groups and try to find the answers to the rest questions .B: Choose some to say the answers , and fill in the table .(If they did very well , change their level .)C: Following the radio to read . Then read together .3. Read the passages . (1) Teacher shows out the screen , ask the Ss to read following the radio . (2) The second time , read after teacher . (3) The last time read together . (4) Have a reading competition . Each group should read the passage carefully . Then read one group by one group . Which one read better , teacher should change their level .Step3 While- task activities 1. According to the passage to finish the table about Kitty on page 39 . A: Teacher shows out the table on the screen . Ask them to watch carefully . B: Try to find out the answers and fill in .C: Choose some of them to say out . And the same time T shows out and check . (If they did very well , change their level .)2. Learn the right form of an email . (1) Teacher shows out the form through the screen . Ask them to observe , and know how to write an email . (2) Teacher tells the Ss other words about an email .3. Help Gary write an email to Kitty . (1) Showing out the table . Lead them to know the message about Gary . (2) Trying to finish the email from Gary to Kitty . ( Group works ) (3) Check the answers . Choose some of them to read the email . (If they did very well , change their level .)Step4 Class summery We have learnt an email from Kitty to Gary this lesson . And we also help Gary write back . If you have an e-friend in other countries , can you write an email to him or her ? Just do as Kitty and Gary did . Step5 Homework 1. Review the dialogue on page 36 . 2. Try to write an email to your e-friend . 3. Finish the exercise on your exercise books . Ok , at the end , lets look at the bla
