Which one do you want?教学设计 常德市武陵区芦山社木铺小学 孙晨一、教学内容: 本节课是湘少版小学英语五年级上册第五单元Which one do you want?第一课时。二、教学目标:1、Students can read ,listen ,say and understand these words and phrases:a thick book,a thin book,a raincoat,cheap2、Students are able to read and master:Which one do you want, the one or the one? The one, please.3、学生能够正确朗读对话、获取语篇的信息。4、Students can express how to ask others to choose something and how to choose using this sentence structure:Which one do you want, the one or the one? The one, please.5、创设真实购物情境,让学生乐于用英语和他人交际,善于与他人沟通。三、教学重点:Students are able to read and master the new phrases and sentence structure.Students can read the conversation and get the main idea of the conversation.四、教学难点: Students can express how to ask others to choose something and how to choose using this sentence structure:Which one do you want, the one or the one? The one, please?5、 教学方法:情景教学法、任务教学法六、学情分析:学生在三年级和四年级时学过颜色的单词,描述物体的形容词如大小、长短、新旧等,学生在四年级时学过关于购物的话题,掌握了基本的购物对话,五年级四单元学习了Can I have .?的句型,学生已掌握的知识和心理状态为本节课的学习打下了基础。七、教学过程:Teachers ActivityStudents ActivityPurpose of DesignStep 1: Warm-up and review1、Lead in Game: Do the actions.The teacher and the student do the actions when read these words:Long long long, short short short, thin thin thin, thick thick thickbig big big, small small small ,hot hot hot, cold cold cold2、Ask:Do you still remember these words? Let students read the words which have been learned in the last class quickly.Write down :thin, thickThe students greetings with teacher and play the game.Some students answer the teachers questions according to the chant.Ss:big,small,long,short,hot,coldStudents read the words together.利用游戏既复习了旧知,又能充分调动起学生学习的兴趣,引领学生进入英语学习状态。再一次复习几个形容词,既为学生后面练习提供材料,又为thick,thin的学习作好铺垫。Step 2: Presentation1、 Guess game :I am a shopkeeper, I have many things.Do you know,what is it? Take out the material object,read and write down :a thick book,a thin book,a raincoat.let the students look at the price of the two books,point the cheap one say:cheap,dear2、 Game:Low voice and high voice.Guess:raincoat, bookLearn to read the words and phrases:Read after the teacher.If the teacher speaks these words softly,the students should speak loudlyGuess 激发学生学习兴趣,引入新短语。实物教学让学生形成直观印象,使学生理解词义。音、形、义的同时展现让学生加深对单词的认识与记忆。游戏既能活跃气氛又能让学生很好的操练新单词和短语。4、利用人物店主的卡片、实物卡片创设商店购物情境。Now I am a shopkeeper, I have many things. Look,this is a long raincoat and this is a short raincoat.教师边问边写:Which one do you want, the long one or the short one ?Let the students read after the teacher. Elicit the answer: The long one, please .Write down it.Show the other cards, ask and answer. Which one do you want, the thick/red one or the thick/green one?The thin/green one, please.Students read the sentence after the teacher.Students try to guess the answer. Read it after the teacher.Look at the card.Read together. Then, Try to use other words.(red,green,yellow,big ,small)Look at the sentences onthe PPT. Read together .利用商店购物情境引出重点句型,让学生在情境中读句型并从中领会它的意思。利用图片边问边答,既操练了句型,又强化对新句型的理解,知道了它的运用。 3: Text 1、 Presentation Do you remember Lingling? How about Linglings raincoat?Listen to the tape and tick.Linglings raincoatlongshortthinthickredyellow2、 Read after the tape.3、Have them read the books in groups. Then, have some groups act out. Give them some stickers.4、Ask them read and recite with the students.Listen to the tape and catch the answers.Listen to the tape and read.Look at the books and read in role.Some groups read in role.The good color the stickers.The students read and try to recite using the key words.在听和做表格的过程中抓住课文大意,也训练了学生的听力。训练学生的听力,在模仿的过程中提高口语。分角色朗读,检查学生阅读能力。及时评价学生,激发学习兴趣。利用关键词背诵课文降低难度。Step 4: ExtensionLinglings raincoat is long, hick, red. Now, lets talk about ourselves.Have them take out the papers.Give them the model first. Then, have them make the survey in the class.Step 5: SummaryWhat have we learnt today?Homework:Recite the text.Listen to the teacher.Take out the papers.One answered the teachers question about the blankets. Others listen and learn.Then, do the survey in the class.Look at the blackboard answer the question.Do homework.师生依据调查表进行真实问答,既给学生做了示范,又检查了学生的口语交际能力。请一、两名学生作汇报,检查调查结果.学生总结所
