unit9 my favorite subject is science section a教学目标:section a mainly lets students learn to ask and talk about their favorite subjects with other people, meanwhile, students should learn to show their reasons to others. whats more, grasping the usage of special questions guided by “wh-” as well as its corresponding answers is required during this part. for example: 1. whats your favorite .? my favorite.is.2. why do/ does.? because.3. who is/are.? 4. when is/are.?teaching and learning steps :一 review1. the art festival is in january. (画线部分提问) _.activity form(活动形式): divide the whole class into 12 groups , at first ,let ss write their answers of the questions on their exercise book. and then teacher draws lots(抽签). the groups that are chose come to the front to write their answers. if they did right, an award will be given.设计意图: 通过此活动的复习,既查试了学生对上单元的掌握情况又能引导出本节课的要讲的主要句型。二 guiding-inlook at the pictures and say the subject that the picture relates to. for example: t: what subject is it? s1: it is science. t: what subject is it? s2: it is . _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _activity form: “quick answer”, teacher says “ready go”, the student who stand up first get the opportunity to show the answer. if they did right, get the award.设计意图: 图片能引起学生的注意,并检验学生预习后对新单词的掌握情况。三:1b listen and circle the subjects you hear in 1a.1 p.e. 2 art 3 science 4 music 5 math 6 chinese 7 geography 8 historyactivity form: divide the whole class into 4 groups, select the representative of the group come to the front and write the subjects they heard on the blackboard while listening to the tape recorder. the representative who did all right, the group that he/ she represented will get the reward.设计意图:学生喜欢竞赛,通过次比赛,能调动学生积极性。四 1c practice the conversationa: whats your favorite.?b: my favorite.isactivity form: 4 groups as it has divided. student should cooperate with his/her deskmate to practice the conversation. after preparing. teacher asks one group to start, at the same time, teacher will count time. at last, the students in which group pronounce accurately with lest time will win.活动形式:全班分为4组,即南北各两大排,中间两大排。同桌之间搭档,一问一答, 老师抽签从四组中选出一组开始,老师说“ready go!”并开始计时,被选中的小组第一排同学开始,然后往后去,同桌之间进行对话练习,四个小组都要进行该活动,哪个小组的同学在规定的时间内清晰地完成对话,哪个小组获得奖励。设计意图:通过对话学生能掌握重点句型,并能练习发音以及听力。五 listening practice 2a and 2b(1) listen for the main idea听取大意 the main idea of the three conversation is _. a talking about subjects b talking about teachers c talking about schoolsactivity form: listen to the tape recorder, then let one student to show the choice.(2)listen for details 听取细节,第二遍根据听力短文完成表格 subject descriptioneg: p.e. fun art 1_ interesting science 2_ music 3_ 4_ boring 5_ difficult mathactivity form: let ss fill the blank. later, ask the representative to show their answer. the representative who did all right, the group that he/ she represented will get the reward.(3) post-listening activities 听后活动 what do you think of the subjects in the listening practice? discuss in group. use the form : a: what s your favorite subject?b: my favorite subject is.,a: why do you like.?b: because its.activity form: the whole class are divided into 12 groups as it did at the begining . ss discuss in their group, after discussing, teacher draws lot to choose the group. the group which is chose should appoint two ss come to the front to perform. the group that perform well with accurate pronunciation will will.设计意图:把已听过的听力的重点句型加以练习,既加深了印象,又让学生得以口语练习。六朗读2d1翻译探究(1) hows your day? 意思_是非正式场合朋友见面时的问候用语.其答语可以为 great/ its ok/just so so.等表心情的语句。eg:a: how is your day?b: great! today is my day._(2) who is your p.e. teacher?_who 是_,意思是 _,用来询问_,who通常看作第_人称_数,所以谓语动词用_ 其所有格形式为_e.g.: my english teacher is mrs. liu.
