七年级英语(下)Unit 5 Why do you like Pandas ?说课稿Good afternoon, Ladies and gentlemen ! My name is Nie Jianru. Im an English teacher from Xin Gan Siyuan Experimental School. Im very happy to have the chance to talk about my teaching ideas. Today Ill talk about Unit 5 Why do you like pandas ? Period One. My topic is made of 6 parts. It includes: Teaching material analysis, Teaching methods, Study methods, Teaching procedures and Blackboard design .一、Teaching material analysis.(说教材)(一)、 Status and function.(地位和作用) This lesson is from Unit 5 Section A Volume two of Grade 7 from Go for it . The topic in this lesson is talking about animals in the zoo. The students will learn some new words and expressions about describing animals. At the same time they can receive some moral education.(二)、 Teaching Aims. (教学目标) 1. Knowledge aims. (知识目标) (1)The students can read these words:koala, tiger, elephant, and so on. (2)The students can use these sentences to ask and answer :What animals do you like? Why do you like koalas? 2. Ability aims. (能力目标)Students can describe animals and express preferences.3. Moral aims. (情感目标) Tell the students to love and protect animals.(三)、Teaching importance.(教学重点) Master the vocabularies and express preferences.(四)、Teaching difficulties.(教学难点)Make sure the students can describe animals correctly.二、Teaching methods. (说教法)1. Situational teaching method.(情景导入法) I used the multi-media(多媒体) to play an English song Two Tigers to lead in the topic of this lesson. 2. Task-based teaching method. (任务型教学法) After reading, I got the students to finish listening and writing practice.3. Game teaching method. (游戏教学法) Thanks to the multi-media, I played some interesting games, such as Memory Challenge, Guessing Games to make my class lively and interesting.三、Study methods. (说学法) 1. Teach the students how to communicate with others by pair work and group work. 2. Get the students to form good learning habits to develop the students interests of English.四、Teaching procedures.(说程序即教案)Step1. Lead-in Watch and listen to the English song Two Tigers.【设计意图:以英文歌曲“两只老虎”引出本节课的话题,轻松愉悦的音乐为学生营造了和谐的学习氛围。】Step 2. Present the words (What animals did you see? Do you like tigers? Why? Where can we see them? Ok! Lets go to the zoo to see more animals.)1. Listen to the animals. Now we are at the gate of the zoo. We cant see any animals, but we can hear some of them. What animals are they? Listen and guess. To learn the words: tiger , elephant, monkey.2. Look and watch the animals. Now we are in the zoo. There are so many animals in the zoo. Lets see them one by one. To learn the words: koala , penguin, giraffe, dolphin, lion, panda.【设计意图:通过播放动物的叫声和展示动物的图片,引出本节课的新单词,声色并茂的情境让学生仿佛身临其境,将他们的视听器官都调动起来,有利于激发学生的学习热情、兴趣和积极性。】Step 3. Practice the words.1. Memory challenge. Show some pictures of animals quickly and then ask the students to say the words of animals they see. The answer is: koala, penguin, elephant, panda, dolphin.2. Guessing game. Ask students to write down the animals they like .Tell them to come to the front and ask the other students to guess what animals he or she likes.【设计意图:练习单词环节如果一味让学生朗读会很枯燥,由此我创设了这个过程,打破了以往枯燥的学习方法,让他们在听、看、写的过程中自然学到知识。】Step 4. Description 1. T: We have seen so many animals. What do you think of these animals? Can you describe the animals? For example, look at these animals. Tigers are strong. Dolphins are smart. Pandas are cute. 2. To learn some words about describing animals. smart, cute ,fun , shy, beautiful, kind of(old),very(old) 通过多媒体展示两只不同程度大小的狮子,对比kind of 与very【设计意图:学习完有关动物的单词后,接下来就是描绘动物了,动物图片的展示使教学形象、生动、直观,将语言学习中抽象化的东西形象具体化,使教学过程重难点突出,便于学生掌握。】 Step 5. Games 1. Choose to describe animals from three groups of the pictures. 2. Lets sing:. Little tigers, little tigers, they are strong, they are strong. Koalas are cute, Koalas are cute, monkeys are smart, monkeys are smart. . Little lions, little lions, they are scary, they are scary. Dolphins are cleverdolphins are clever, elephants are big, elephants are big. . Little (学生自编自唱) 3. Guess what my favorite animal is. What is my favorite animal? Guess! They are cute. They are smart. They live in the water. They can play with a ball. What are they? ( They are dolphins)4. Please describe the animals and let your group mates guess! For example: She is kind of shy. She likes eating bamboo. She is a panda.5. Ask some students to act the animals, and guess what they are.【设计意图:这一步是游戏环节,利用多媒体的超链接功能让学生选题猜测,既紧密结合了教材内容,又极大限度地刺激了学生的多种感官,体现了教学中演练结合的教学效果,让学生的注意力集中,思维活跃,使得新知识的学习水到渠成。】Step 6. Listening1. Listen to the tape and finish 1b.Listen to it twice and check the answers. After that, ask some questions according to the dialogues. 2. Listen to the tape twice and finish 2a and 2b. Check the answers.【设计意图:经过几个读写环节,接下来就是听力练习了,多媒体让学生感受了原滋原味的英语,也为下面的小组操练做了铺垫。】Step 7. Tasks1. Pair work. A: What animals do you like? B: I likeA: Why? B: Because theyre kind of/very.2. Group work. Make a survey about the animals the students like and the reason. Ask some groups to give their reports. NameAnimals he/she likesWhy Jimpandascute .【设计意图:为了进一步巩固所学,我设计了交互式的操练,让学生有更多的参与,学生更为主动,通过写调查报告创造反思的环境,有利于形成新的认知结构。】Step 8. Summary Today we have learned some words of animals and how to describe the animals. Most animals are very cute and smart. Love animals, love ourselves. All animals are our friends. We should protect them.【设计意图:为了实现情感目标,我号召学生爱护和保护动物,丰富和拓展了课文内容】Step 9. Homework1. Describe one of the animals you like and write it down.2. Write down the report of the survey.【设计意图:根据学生的差异,我设计了两道题,既巩固了基础知识,又使学有余力的学生有所提高】教学反思: 英语课堂教学关键是要激发学生英语学习兴趣,创设语境,提高课堂实效性。本节课的导入我觉得非常成功,先是播放英文版歌曲的视频,然后通过“听动物,观动物”来引出并学习单词,再通过“评动物”引出本节课的目标语言。为了巩固单词和目标语言,我运用了不同的游戏,这些都大大地激发了学生学习英语的兴趣,学生的积极性非常高。课堂提问也能做到注意面广、速度快、问题的实效性也较好。课堂评价方面,教师力求对学生进行鼓励,如:You are very clever! Good! 等来激发学生学习的兴趣。课的结尾,我还对学生就爱护动物进行了一定的思想教育。板书设计也较好,突出
