way you relate to others.dtraveling enables you to take on new challenges.etraveling gives you sympathy for global suffering.ftraveling helps you to realize the world is not all about you.i have been very fortunate to travel extensively throughout the world while still young.based on my experience,i recommend every young person to get out of their hometown and see whats out there.here are several ways that traveling has changed me forever.1_unfortunately,the area i grew up in didnt have much diversity.everyone looked and acted basically the same.when i traveled,i learned about other cultures and enriched my life by developing friendships with people who were nothing like me,but were exactly what i needed.this taught me to embrace, not to fear, the experiences and the relationships that were outside my comfort zone.it also taught me the importance of communication skills.2_the older i become, the more i realize i actually know very little about life.traveling sometimes puts you in tough situations.you see that the world is so much bigger than your perspective on it.you soon realize the world doesnt circle around you.you learn that you really werent the big fish in the ocean, but just a tiny minnow in a pothole.3_traveling makes you realize you can do things you never thought possible.for example,i have always enjoyed driving on the right side of nicely paved roads of the us.but here,in west indies,i was thrown into driving on the left side of the road on twisty mountain passes down broken roads that arent much bigger than a onelane driveway.no pressure!yet, after more than a few scary moments,i can now drive comfortably with the locals and dont bat an eye at the drop offs,or the pot holes.conquering this fear helped me learn that i could adapt to more than i felt i was capable of conquering.4_when you travel, you learn how much you truly have that you take for granted.many people live in poverty that is unbelievable to those who have never walked their streets and heard their stories.watching the wars and famines(饥荒) on the news takes on a whole new meaning when you have a personal connection with the people there.you lose the cold and selfcentered attitude towards all those misfortunes.and,it pushes you to help others and give back.5_i never liked history in school.just reading the stories in books seemed so boring to me.however, when i visited the palace of versailles in france, amazed at the architecture of churches in africa, climbed the ruins of castles in ireland, and walked the halls of the louvre,i couldnt help but get a new appreciation for history.traveling makes history come alive.the stories are no longer pictures in a book, but vivid memories you remember much longer than you could study in school.答案1.c2.f3.d4.e5.a下面文章中有5处(第15题)需要添加小标题。请从以下选项(a、b、c、d、e和f)中选出适合各段意思的小标题。选项中有一项是多余选项。achoose your job carefullybfind achievement elsewherecnever take a negative attitudeddont take anything
