(义务教育课程标准实验教科书EEC小学英语五年级下册)Unit 6 Hows the Weather ?教学设计 【教学目标】 通过本节课学习,学生能够听、说、读、(写)、使用重点单词及短语:season, weather, fly kites, make a snowman等。能够掌握并运用重点句型Which season do you like best?及其答语来表达自己对某个季节的喜爱;能够掌握并运用重点句型Hows the weather?及其答语描述不同的天气状况。能够将所学单词、句子运用到实际生活中。学生的英语素养及世界文化意识得以提高。教学重点、难点:掌握教学目标中所提出的重点单词和短语,理解并熟练运用两个重点句型及其答语。另外,本节课过去时的出现,成为一项教学难点。【教学方法】 “创设生活化英语情境,让学生们快乐地学习英语。”是我的教学理念。根据英语课程标准的要求,结合二级教学目标我设计了本课较丰富的教学活动。其中,我以任务型教学为途径,以活动型教学为模式,将贴近学生生活的“季节”与“天气”话题贯穿始终,让学生们在生动的模拟情境过程中感知英语,在快乐的游戏情境中操练英语,在开放的生活情境中应用英语,进而实现教学目标,发展学生英语能力。【教学过程】 1、 歌曲热身,情境导入 1.上课伊始,师生互致问候 T: I m your new friend, Lisa! Hello, boys and girls! Ss: Hello, Lisa. 2.师生共同演唱歌曲Hows the weather. (通过歌曲演唱,自然创设出有关天气的情境,为下一步学习做准备。) 3.师生进行轻松的对话交流 T: Its sunny today. What season is it now? S1: Its summer. T: How many seasons are there in a year? What are they? S2: Spring, summer, fall and winter. T: Great. Lets say it together! 教师将四个季节的图片逐一展示在黑板之上。 Ss: Spring, summer, fall and winter. T: You know this is my first time to come to Mudanjiang. Hows the weather in the spring here? S3: Its warm. 教师在春天的图片旁边板书warm一词。 T: Can you spell warm? T: What about summer? S4: Its hot. 教师在夏天的图片旁边板书hot一词。 T: Can you spell hot? T: Hows the weather in the fall here? S5: Its cool. 教师在秋天的图片旁边板书cool一词。 T: Can you spell cool? T: What about winter? S6: Its cold. 教师在秋天的图片旁边板书cold一词。 T: Can you spell cold? T: Wow! What a wonderful place. The weather here is just like my citys. Where am I from? Can you guess? 通过多媒体展示哈尔滨的美景。 T: Yeah. Youre so clever. Look here! This is Harbin. Is it beautiful? Ss: Yes! T: Thank you! Its a beautiful place and I love it very much. Would you like to chant with me?通过多媒体展示赞美哈尔滨的英文歌谣。 Ss: “Welcome to Harbin! Welcome to Harbin! What a beautiful place! What a beautiful place! Its warm in the spring. Its hot in the summer. Its cool in the fall. Its cold in the winter.” T: Good job! (在愉悦的情境交流中,师生共同进入有关季节与天气的情境中,并逐步展开重点知识的学习。)二、依托情境,讲授新知 1.在师生对话交流中自然导入重点句型的学习 T: You know there are four seasons in a year and I like all of them. But which season do I like best? Can you guess? T: Yes. I like winter best. Because Harbin is very beautiful in the winter. 板书I like winter best. T: What about you? Which season do you like best? 板书Which season do you like best? S7: I like summer best. T: Can you spell summer? S7: S-U-M-M-E-R, summer. 师生间句型的问答在“我拍你闪”的游戏中进行。 T: Which season do you like best? S8: I like winter best. T: Why do you like it best? S8: I like skating. 同学们和自己的搭档一问一答在游戏中操练巩固句型。 T: Would you like to ask and answer with your partner? T: Well, different people like different seasons. And its summer now. Hows the weather in the summer? 板书Hows the weather in the summer? S9: Its hot. S10: Its sunny. T: Does it rain in the summer? Ss: Yes! 2.通过多媒体展示逐一完成各重点单词和短语的学习 T: Look! What are those in the sky? 通过多媒体展示多云情境,录音材料播放cloudsT: Those are clouds! Follow me, clouds! 将“云彩”的图片和单词卡粘贴在黑板上,通过“High and Low”这一小游戏操练单词,再请部分同学逐一说出完整语句Hows the weather there?I ts cloudy ! T: Whats that? 通过多媒体展示情境,Sunny , cloudy , windy 通过“Slowly and Fast”这一小游戏操练。 多媒体显示所有天气情况让学生画出自己喜欢的天气状况,然后同桌一问一答,Hows the weather there? Its.Its .here.(教师先示范,找学生问,师回答,Its warm ,Its spring here.3.Learn some more.出示短语及过去式表达。请学生找规律,完成了某件事,要用过去式(ride our bike /go to the beach/fly kites/ make a snowman)用过去式造句子,加上时间。如 I went to the beach yesterday. I made a snowman last winter.(告诉学生在什么时候用过去式)三、巩固练习: 1.Lets chant page76. 2.Telephone a student :Hello! How s the weather there? S1:Its warm .Its spring here. T: How was your day?S1(hose the sentence to answer)Practice in pairs .And act out. 3.rue or False 4.Read and chose.四、
