lesson 2：it is getting warmer!教材分析本课是冀教版book 4的第二课，是一节阅读课。本课通过wang mei写给jenny的一封信，介绍了春天的特征和人们的活动，要求学生学会并运用新的词汇，谈论春天及春天的活动。学情分析到八年级下半年，学生对英语语言的学习已经有了一定的基础，词汇量、阅读能力、写作能力都处于上升阶段，如何让学生在难度逐渐增加、词汇量逐渐增大的情况下，保持并提高英语学习的兴趣，是八年级英语教学的关键。教学目标语言知识与能力目标1. 学习词汇：neither，nor, boot, jasmine, blossom, sunshine, tai chi, swing；学习短语：neither nor, winter jasmine, play on the swing, a field trip, 。2. 锻炼阅读能力。情感态度与价值观通过本课学习，让学生体会到春天来了，大地复苏，我们应该以更饱满的热情去迎接新的一年。教学重点1. 培养学生的阅读理解能力2. 掌握并运用本课谈论春天和春天计划的知识。教学难点1. neither nor 的用法。2. 课文的理解。教学手段多媒体 教学过程师生活动设计意图step1 greetingsgreetings.师生互相问候可以增进师生情谊，有助于活跃课堂气氛，体现师生的平等对话pre-readingwarming up and pre-readingt: class. its getting warmer. spring has arrived in tangshan. it seems that everything is awake. i feel energetic.
