(pl.)so + adj. + n. (pl.) such +n. (pl.) so + adj. + n. 不可数such +n. 不可数sothat与suchthat之间的转换既为 so与such之间的转换。 1.) she is so lovely a girl that everyone loves 2.) she is such a lovely girl that everyone loves her.(她是如此可爱的一个女孩,以至每个人都喜欢她。) 3.) this story is so interesting that i want to read it again. 4.) it is such an interesting story that i want to read it again. (这个故事如此有趣以至我想再读一次。) 13. can和be able to都表示能力,意思上没多大区别。can表示一般的能力,可以指本来就有的能力。be able to 表示“具体的能力”(即在某具体场合成功地做了某事),强调通过努力。时态区别:can只有现在和过去时,而be able to则有更多的形式。意义区别:当成功地完成某一具体动作时,通常不用could而用was/were able to来表示。这时was/were able to 相当于managed to,表示经过一番努力,终于能够完成某事。如:can you use chopsticks?the wounded man still was able to get to the village and was saved in the end.adverbial clauses of condition条件状语从句条件状语从句要用if来引导,if意为“如果”,引导条件状语从句时,表示假如有从句的动作发生就(不)会有主句的动作发生。在时间状语从句和条件状语从句中,要注意主句和从句之间时态的问题:主句用一般将来时,从句用一般现在时。也就是说在时间状语从句和条件状语从句中,要用一般现在时代替一般将来时。 例如: if you drive too fast,you may have an accident如果你开
