Analysis of the teaching planUnit 5 Can you come to my party?Section A(1a1c)Good morning ,Ladies and gentlemen! Its an honor to be here to share my teaching ideas with you .Im going to talk about Grade 8 Unit 5 ,The title is “Can you come to my party?” Section A (1a-1c) .Im going to express my teaching ideas in 6 parts.They are Analysis of Teaching Material, Teaching methods, Learning methods, Teaching procedures, Blackboard design and valuation. At first,Let me tell you the analysis of teaching material.This unit is mainly talking about making,accepting and declining invitations by using modal verb “ can”. And obligations by using “ have to and be v-ing”.The topic of invitation is often talked in our daily life .It closely related studentslife.On the one hand ,Its helpful to raise the Ss interest of learning English.On the other hand, Its also helpful to improve their spoken English.Of course ,The Modal Verb usage is throughout the whole middle stage ,Its also the important test for examination.So its important for them to learn it well.The teaching aims basis is established according to “the Goal of Go for it ” English syllybas provision. So the knowledge aim is mastering how to make , accept and decline invitations.Using the following target language:Can you come to my party? Sure, Id love to .Sorry , I cant .I have to study for a test. Im sorry, too. Im having a piano lesson. And the key word : lesson.The ability aim is according to the studentscalendar ,invite their friends to do something they want to do together.So the emotional aim is to encourage students to communicate and co-operate better.According to the above analysis .I establish the following important and difficult points .The importance is to master how to make ,accept, and decline invitations.And There are 2 difficult points;One is to master how to make,accept and decline invitations;The other is according to Ss calendar ,invite their friends to do something they want to do together.The second part is analysis of teaching method.Ill adopt two methods.The first one is task-based language teaching approach. task-based language teaching approach not only stimulates the students interest but also cultivates the ability of their communication,co-operation,listening,speaking,reading and writing. The second one is Multi-media teaching. Multi-media teaching is used to create a real situation of target language.and to make the teaching contents visual and vivid to stimulate students interest.And of course to avoid mother language using.The third part is analysis of learning methods.In this part ,Ill adopt two methods.The first one is to cultivate their abilities of communication,co-operation.The second one is taking part in activities and complete the tasks including talking,listening inviting by the target languages while co-operating with others.The forth part is teaching procedures. In this part, Ill talk about it in 5 steps. They are Preparation,Presentation,Practice, Production and Progress.In production cycle.Ill adopt task-based language teaching.Ill design three tasks. in this way.Let students achieve the purpose of communication with others. In order to achieve the above-mentioned teaching purpose.Ill have this lesson like this: At the beginning of this class, I will give greeting warmly to the class, and then discuss : Imagine were having 5 days off next week.What you are doing? And then design their next weeks calendar like this.I think discussion will make my class lovely and active.Whats more ,Most students can take part in the activities. On the other hand.I not only revise the old lesons but also learn to set behind.Next,Ill show Ss a picture of a birthday party. And show them my birthday is coming. To present the conversation of making invitations.And ask a few students who are free on that time to answer “Sure.Id love to. The same way to present “Sorry,I cant.Im having a piano lesson ,and I have to study for a test.”At the same time .Let other students look at the students calendar and the teacher may help them answer. Itll be much easier for them to understand. After that .Ill practice it in 4 steps.First Ill practice the conversaton with half and half class.Then let Ss look at their own calendar , make new conversations in pairs.Next sing and chant with the target language.Finally let Ss invite their classmates to do something they want to do together with the pictures.In order to let most of students master the target language .I adopt kinds of ways to practice it.Then Ill give them 3 tasks . At this time .Most students can finish them easily. Task 1 Let Ss look at the book carefully and match the words with the pictures .task 2 Let Ss listen and write the names next to the correct students in the picture above. At this time, Ill play the recorder several times if possible in order to most students can finish it. After that, give them 2 minutes to read these conversations and make sure how to use these target language and try their best to make new conversations. When they can use target language easily. Ill give them the third task . Imagine you have 5 days off .Please invite a few of your classmates to travel together.You may talk about where you are going? how you are going there . Then write down their own conversations in the exercise-book as home work .This task not only relates the old lesson but also improves their writing skills. On the other hand . It achieves my purpose of ability aim.According to studying above.I
