module 12 summer in la教学内容: unit 2 learn english in los angeles. 二、课型:reading and writing 三、教学目标:1. 能够掌握新单词:experienced, weekly, progress, friendship, arrange, various, organize, application, rest, book, baggage, straight,make progress with, check in 能够读懂描述英语课程的短文。3. 能够写介绍课程的广告。四、教学重难点:1. 能够理解、掌握并运用主谓一致。(重点)2. 能够从阅读材料中获取关于英语课程的信息。(难点)3. 能够知道文章属于什么题材。 五、教学准备: 课堂整体运用任务型教学模式以及阅读课“四个阶段”教学模式。本课指导学生通过阅读获取信息,培养学生阅读技能。在教学过程中,采用多媒体手段辅助教学,利用各种图片和习题任务贯穿整个教学过程。因此,本节课需准备:ppt课件、挂图、录音机、课堂练习表格、奖品。 六、教学过程:教学步骤教师活动学生活动设计意图step onepre-reading(6)task 1: learn the new words.(1).have students read through the words in activity1 separately and have them remember them. (2). have them work in a group of 6 and talk about the four photos in the book use the words in activity1.(3). introduce the new words.(4).show some pictures (eg. disneyland, hollywood, course, movie) and learn new words. ask them try to make new sentences with the new words. ask several students to say out their sentences. task 2: look at the slides about los angeles and talk about them.directions: 1. look at the slides about los angeles on the screen. have the ss. discuss them. eg. 1).what can you think about after seeing all the above pictures ?2).do you want to learn english in los angeles?3).what do you think they are doing? why do students live with american families?2. call back some comments from the whole class.task 1: learn the new words.
