A lot of families have their own cars. In a word, life in Nanjing is better now than before.Unit 2 Travelling I went to India two years ago with my parents. It was the best holiday in my life. We spent two weeks traveling around and visited many interesting places. The night before we left for India, I was so excited that I could not fall asleep. Our plane left at 1 p.m. and it took nearly six hours to fly to New Delhi. The next day, we went on a sightseeing tour. I took lots of photos and we all did some shopping at the market. On the third day of our trip, we went to a city called Jaipur. At Jaipur, we visited the Palace Museum and rode elephants. I almost fell off from the elephant. I felt scared. The highlight of our trip was the Taj Mahal. It is a very famous and beautiful place that was built around 1640. Some people think that all Indian food is spicy, but some dishes are not spicy at all. My favourite dish was chicken korma. It is delicious. It tasted a bit sweet because it is made with coconut. We ate rice every day, just like at home! India is so big that it is impossible to go to all the wonderful places in one trip. I hope that I can go back again some day.Unit 3 Online tours China is in Asia. Its capital city is Beijing. China has the largest population in the world. It is also a country with a long history and is one of the four ancient civilizations in the world. There are many places to visit in China. If you go to Beijing, you can visit the Palace Museum. It was the home of emperors for a long time. Do not forget to try Beijing duck. It is very delicious. Xian is another old city. You can see the Terracotta Warriors and Horses and visit museums there. If you like places of natural beauty, you should go to Guilin. You can enjoy the unique landscape and the beautiful Li River.
