教学内容Unit 10 By the time I got outside, the bus had already left 【Section A 1a ,1c ,2c ,1b ,2a ,2b,Grammar focus】课时The First Period教学对象九年级设计者但堂芳一、教材内容分析1a-1c主要帮助学生掌握By the time 句型。1a通过讨论发生在早上的事件的五幅图,引出本单元中心话题和目标语言。1b听力练习目标语言,1c口语练习目标语言;2a-2c提供更多的听说训练。2a连接1a部分故事情节,通过听力展示了接下来发生的糟糕事,复习巩固目标语言。2b通过听力引导学生学习when和by the time引导的时间状语从句,继续学习过去完成时态的用法。2c口头给Tina的故事作一个结尾以训练口语表达能力。grammar focus归纳总结过去完成时态的用法及动词的过去式和过去分词形式。因此,针对学生实际,本节课关键是对以By the time 和When引导的时间状语的过去完成时态的复合句的掌握,能正确运用一般过去时态和过去完成时态谈论Tina尴尬的早晨或自己迟到的经历。并通过交流认识到不及时做事而造成的危害,从而养成良好的行为习惯。二、教学目标(知识与能力,情感态度与价值观)1. Knowledge aims:1)掌握词汇及短语。Get out side , already ,realize , get to school ,take a shower ,by the time, walk into ,start doing ,be late for .2)能从所听到的对话中获取信息。 3)能运用下列句型交际:By the time I got outside, the bus had already leftWhen I got to school , I realized I had left my backpack at home .2. Ability aims:初步掌握过去完成时态的结构和用法。 3. Emotion aims:学会合理的安排自己的学习和生活,做到守时守信。三、重点、难点1. Teaching important points:1)Key vocabulary words and expressions in this period.2)Learn the language points. 2 . Teaching difficult points:1)Make correct sentences using the target language in this period.2)初步感悟过去完成时态及其结构和用法.四、教法选择与学法指导针对本节课内容,为了提高学生的学习兴趣和实现预期的教学目标,本课综合运用任务型教学法、听说法、交际法,通过观察、激励、提问等方式,促进学生的合作、交流、探索、提高,重视对学生听、说、读、写技能以及口语表达能力的培养。五、资源准备A recorder ,a projector。六、教学过程教学任务教师活动学生活动设计意图及资源准备Step1.Lead-in5minutes1.Greeting the class2. Show the pictures and ask some questions about it . What do you think of the people in these pictures? Have you ever been late for school?I was late for school today .When I got up ,I found my clock had rung .It was 7:30.By the time I went to the bathroom ,my daughter had been in .So I had to wait .When I went out , By the time I went to the my motorbike had broken down .1.Listen to the teacher carefully .2.Then answer the questions .They look badYes,I have通过教师讲述自己迟到的经历,激起学生对以下内容的兴趣。同时引出新句型。Step2.Presentation 1a 5minutes1.Show the pictures about 1a. 2.Explain what is the past participle form of a verb for the students Tell them it is as the same as the past form for a regular verb1.Remember the irregular verbs participles one by one 2.Look at the pictures and use “had done” to tell teacher something about the pictures .不断强化句型,让学生有个固定的模式进行后面的练习。Step3.Grammar focus 2minutes1.Call students attention to the sentences on the left2. Ask four different students to read the four sentences and point out where had plus a past participle is usedWrite the sentences on the blackboard1.Students make sentences correctly using each form of the verbs in the box 2.Check the answers 3.Students read the Grammar focus on page 77.及时小结语法,掌握句型及动词的过去分词和过去式构成规律。Step4. Practice1a .2a .1c .2c .8minutes1. Show the pictures about 1a and 2a .2.Ask : What do you think happened After Tina was late to class ?Make up an ending for the story and share it with the rest of the class .Look at the pictures and try use “had done” to tell a story with these pictures in the class .Mabe these phrases you will use :get outside ,get to school ,by the time ,start doing ,be late for 操练目标语言,为听懂听力打基础。Step5.Listening 1b .2a .2b .15minutes1. Ask the students to read the instructions together and play the recording .2. Check the answers by asking some students to tell their answers 1. Read the requirements at first .2. Listen to the recording more than one times to finish 1b .2a .and 2bs exercises .3.Check-up the answers together .听力练习进一步熟悉目标语言。Step6.Consolidation and Extension .5minutesAsk students to make conversations in pairs with target language .Ask a pair to read the example to the class before they begirt After they all finish talking, ask some pairs to say their conversations to the class Each of you will have to take turns being Tina Look at the pictures in Activity la to help you Tell your partner what happened to you this morning :I had a bad day last weekend 让学生运用所学内容,既巩固了所学的目标语言,又开拓了思维。Step7.Summary 3minutes1.Get ss to go over grammar focus2.Explain:by ,after 的用法1.Learn the grammar focus by heart.2.Learn the use of by ,after.
