教学内容Unit 10 By the time I got outside, the bus had already left【SectionB1a,1b,2c,2a,2b,3b,Self check1,3,Self check2】课时The Third Period教学对象九年级设计者但堂芳一、教材内容分析通过前两节课学生已经能够用本单元的目标语进行交际。因此根据教材中3b和2a,2b联系紧密,而3a的阅读所需时间较长,以及我班学生阅读还需教读这一学习情况,特将教材中的3b,3c,4及Self check 等部分移到本节课先上,而将3a放到下一节课在学习。而本节课主要通过词汇分类练习让学生掌握本单元新词及其词性,在听力练习中了解愚人节并运用目标语言谈论愚人节趣事。教学重难点是:对学生进行听力练习和写作指导。二、教学目标(知识与能力,情感态度与价值观)1 Knowledge Objects (1) Key Vocabulary fool, invite, costume, embarrassed, go off, get up,get dressed empty, show up, realize, change ,clock , exhausted, stay up, April Fools Day.(2)Target Language When I got there, I found that he had fooled me After an hour, the other kids showed up, and I realized that my brother had fooled me By the time I got to match class, I was exhausted because I had stayed up all night studying I found out that my friend had fooled me 2 Ability Objects (1) Train the students writing, listening and speaking skills with the target language (2)Train the students to use the new vocabulary and write an article according to the pictures given三、重点、难点1.Teaching important points:1)Train the students listening and speaking skills with target language 2)Teach the students the new vocabulary3)Help the students have a self check on the key words and target language of this unit 4) Direct the students to write an article according to the pictures given 2 . Teaching difficult points:1)Help the students make sentences with the verbs2)Guide listening and oral practice using the target language3)Help learn to use the new vocabulary correctly and write an article with the pictures given四、教法选择与学法指导针对本节课内容,利用多媒体课件及任务型阅读法,小组合作交际来完成教学任务,重视对学生听、说、读、写技能以及口语表达能力的培养。五、资源准备A recorder ,a projector。六、教学过程教学任务教师活动学生活动设计意图及资源准备Step1. Learn new words5minutes1.引导完成1a.Point to the chart with the three headings Nouns, Verbs and Adjectives Read the words in the brackets to the students and help the students to understand the meanings of nouns, verbs and adjectives1. Read the instructions.2. Complete the chart on their own 3. Work in pairs now Tell your partner about something that has happened to you recently Note to use two or more phrases from the list in Activity la4 Check the answers学习新词汇。了解名词、动词、形容词(副词)。Step2.Brainstorm and Listening 15minutes1. Say something about April Fools Day to the students and ask : 1 When is April Fools Day ? 2 What do you often do on that day ?2. Call the students attention to the four pictures Ask the students what is happening in each picture 3.Play the recording .4. Play the recording again.1. Talk about April Fools Day and answer the questions.2.Describe the three pictures of 2a3.Listening and write each boys name in the correct box4.listening to the same recording And write D for Dave, N for Nick and J for Joes on the short lines before the phrases5. Then have them look at the sample conversation on the right Ask a pair of the students to read and try to continue it 1. Students listen to the tape-recording and work in pairs2. Tell the answers to the class Check the answers with the whole class 3.
