It has been developing into a comprehensive university with efforts of generations, especially in the recent 30 years. We have a new campus with almost all the facilities we need ,such as the computer center, well-equipped labs, modern education technical center and so on。The library is brand-new, with the storage of 3 million books. Our professors are knowledgeable and extracurricular activities are colorful. In a word, I love my university. 3.家庭 There are six members in my family :my parents, my elder brother ,my two elder sisters and I. All of my brother and sisters have been married, so now I live with my parents. My father is very king and easy-going. His love for me is unconditional. I am lucky because I have a good father .My father has been thirsty for knowledge as he had only a few years of schooling himself. He believes that the knowledge can change fate. So my father offered me every opportunity to study no matter how poor my family was. To sum up, my family is harmonious and our life is very happy. 4.家乡 My hometown is Zhao An , in Zhangzhou City of Fujian Province. Its not very large, with a history of 500 years and a population of 50 thousands. Unlike being in a big city, there isnt much industry, so it is a very beautiful and lovely place to live in. There are some old teahouses, you can have a cup of tea and chat there in the morning. And there is also a beautiful park, which is called Zhongshan Park, people usually do exercises and go walking in it. Its economy has been developing rapidly in the past twenty years. New houses, roads and bridges have been built. People in my hometown are very hard working, friendly and honest. In a word, I love my hometown very much. 5.大学生活 Generally speaking, I find my college life interesting and colorful ,it will be my most exciting period of my life. And I should say that four-year academic lifewould become one of most rewarding experiences in my life. We have chances to learn much of knowledge, we have opportunities to develop our abilities. We take part in seminars, academic reports and some researching work. In this way, we put what we learn into practice. I also enjoy my leisure activities, they are all very wonderful. 6.同学相处 We are getting on well with each other. Most of them are smart and considerate, but some of them are kind of noisy and messy. Well, some of my roommates enjoy playing cards so much and they often keep me up late at night. 7.学习情况 My scores are over average ,but I spent a lot of time in my part-time jobs. I was deeply impressed by the old mans persistence on not giving up what he had been doing and his strong will to fight against hardship and bad luck to realize his aims. From the book I learn success only belongs to those who are persistent, patient and not afraid of failure and difficulties. What I learn from the old man is never say no to failure and bad luck. The influence has still worked on me although I read the book ten years ago. 10 .最喜欢的运动 I like various sports, and Ping-Pong is my favorite. I often go to Ping-Pong club to play it. It is so important to me that it already becomes part of my life. First, it makes me physically strong. Second, I make a lot of friends, whom I like to communicate with when in trouble. Playing table tennis makes me more quick-witted, and I really enjoy it my very much。 11.最喜欢的老师 My college English teacher is my favorite teacher. She is in her forties, and has quite active personality. Unlike other teacher of her age, she knows well enough the meaning of life and work, and has keen pursuit of both career success and life enjoyment. I admire the way she working and living. She is a successful mother and a successful teacher. 12.学习习惯 Generally speaking, I am a morning person. I like to get up early in the morning, go out to breath the fresh air first. Then do some reading aloud while listening to the bird singing with the red sun in the east. I can memorize a lot of things in this way. In the afternoon, especially after class, I would like to go to the library to study. I like to find a corner in the reference room in the library and enjoy studying alone there. 13.学习中的困难If you ask me the difficulty I have met in my study, I think English undoubtedly is the most difficult, especially spoken English. I have learned English for almost 10 years and I still have a lot of trouble with oral English .The biggest is that I cannot communicate with foreigners freely. I always want to translate words in my mind. Though there are things need improving, I never lose my confidence to overcome it.
