Living in the City Or in the Country?Compared with living in the city, I prefer to live in the country. Several reasons can support my opinion. First, with the development of industry, the city has been seriously polluted. Air pollution and water pollution make our daily life more and more uncomfortable, and it will do harm to our health. Secondly, living in the country provides a better sight. The green trees, grasses and large fields make the country much more beautiful and the air much fresher. 6. Eating in Restaurants Or at Home?I choose to eat in restaurants rather than at home. Eating in restaurants, we have a wide selection of food. And in restaurants, we can release ourselves from much work. To prepare a good meal at home is by no means an easy job. It involves buying good food from the market, washing, cooking and washing dishes. However, when we eat in restaurants, all the trouble is gone. For example, anyone who is not healthy will not be happy. Some rich men have few true friends. Perhaps they think that they are different from ordinary people, and maybe people like their money. When they get much money, they become very strange, and their friends turn away from them. They are not happy. In a word, money can not buy happiness, which is an unchangeable truth.12. The Value of TimeTime is money. But in my opinion, time is even more precious than money. Because when money is spent, we can earn it back. However, when time is gone, it will never return. This is the reason why we must value time. We should make full use of our time to do useful things. As students we must work hard to engage in our studies so as to serve society and our nation in the future. In a word, we should get into the good habit of saving time. Do not put off what can be done today until tomorrow. 13. Children under PressureIn recent years, childrens schoolbags on their back are getting heavier and heavier. Their burden still cant be relieved. For one thing, most parents want their children to be top students. Therefore, children are forced to crush their time to study more. For another, children themselves under the pressure want to score high in order to get a golden opportunity to enter key schools or universities. And in my view, the problem about the pressure on children wont be lightened in a short time. 14The Traffic ProblemWhen we go out in rush hours, we are always caught in a traffic jam. Many people complain about the heavy traffic which has seriously influenced peoples life. Some suggest the government should construct more roads. Others suggest that the number of bicycles and cars should be limited. Though the traffic problem is hard to solve, it can be improved if all of us think of ways and take actions. I am sure everything will be better in the near future. 15. The Energy CrisisEnergy crisis has become one of the biggest problems in the world. If we dont take any measures, sooner or later we will be threatened by the energy crisis. In many countries, people have suggested the governments should narrow the great drain on the countrys resources, and the inhabitants and factories should limit their serious consumption of energy. The best and effective way, I think, is to develop new energy such as solar energy, unclear energy and other unknown energy. 16. Competition And CooperationI think we need competition and cooperation. There are eleven people in a football team and everyone has its individual skills. They make full use of their own skills to play it, but they cant play it well and even lose the game. The main reason is that they dont cooperate with the other players and work together to win the game. A team good at individual skills but poor at team work can never win a game. So competition gets along with cooperation and they cant be isolated. Cooperation without competition will never obtain ones goals and satisfy ones needs. 17. My Favorite JobMy favorite job is to be a doctor. A variety of reasons have led me to choose this occupation. Doctors are the emblems of greatness, which means rescuing the dying and the wounded. Those who save others from danger will feel happy. No more occupation, even high-paid position can equal the opportunity.
