Listen and say Listen to the tape and answer Eg. What can you hear? Is it the _? ( T&S, S&S) 2. Look and say Show some musical instruments, each student choose one and say sth. about it. Eg. Look, Its a guitar! Listen, I can play the guitar. 3. Ask and answer with their classmates. What can you play? I can play the_. Can you play the _? The present participle a. 直接加ing (do, draw, paint, talk, read, sleep, sing, play, eat, jump, look, wash, dry, watch, collect, fly) b. 以一个辅音字母结尾的闭音节,双写再加ing (run, dig, sit, swim) c. 以不发音的e结尾的,去e再加ing. (write, chase, shake, make, shine) 1) Say the rule,students say some words. 2) Show small blackboard and ask them to read the words and the present participle together. 3) Quick response eg. A: run B: running 2. Some phrases 1) Make some phrases with the wprds on the blackboard. 2) Translate the phrases in English. 3. The sentences 1) Look at the pictures of P.9, P16, P22, P42, ask some questions: eg. Whats the fox doing? Its looking at the grapes. 2) According to the pictures the teacher showed, ask “yes or no” questions: eg. Is the boy swimming? Yes, he is. 3) Guess: Whats he /she doing? Ask one student go to the front and do an action, the other student(turn back) guess: Is he/she_? The whole class answer: Yes,/No. 4)
