Greetings T: Hello, boys and girls! Im Miss Huang. Ss: Hello, Miss Huang!2. Play a guessing game: the teacher does any one action of free time activities and the pupils guess; then let one pupil acts and the others guess. 3. Watch a music vedio and listen to the song: Auld Lang Syne 友 谊地久天长(苏格兰民歌)(Lead out the topic “friends”, read and stick card) Step 2 Presentation1. The teacher asks the pupils “Do you want to make more friends?” and they must answer “Yes”,then the teacher gives out Steves self-introduction: Listen to comprehensive the text about Steve, and answer following questions: a.What is his name? b.How old is he? c.When is his birthday? d.What does he like? e.What is his favourite sport? f.Who are his best friends? 2.Listen again sentence by sentence to learn and check.3.Read the text.4.Listen to the other four friends information and fill in the table in four Groups. 5.Listen again and finish their results.6.Each group choose a presentation to fill the total table on board.7.Listen for the third time to explains the new knowledge and check answers together.8.Read the four short texts after the tape. Step 3 Practice1.Ask your partners about Steve and his best friends.2.Talk about your own best friends with partners. Step 4 ProductionEach group choose a presentation to talk about his or her best friends. Step 5 Summary and homeworkRead the texts and write a short one about your own best friends. .Blackboard
