Ask some questions.2. Give Ss 5minutes to read through the passage and find out the answers .3. Check the answers.Check answers.4. Explain the new phrases and sentences Ss cant know.Ss do it individually.Ss answer them together.Then Ss complete the sentences in Activity 2.Ss work in groups to discuss the new phrases and sentences.Step 4 Post-reading 1.Play the tape for Activity 2.2.Homework: Copy the new words in the word list. Read the words theyve learnt. Revise the key sentences.Ss read the passage together.Ss answer them together.Ss repeat the passage after the tape.Step 5 Post-reading (period 2)1. Check the new words2. Dictation.3. Play the tape for Activity 2. Ask Ss to read in small groups.Ss read them together.Ss listen and repeat sentence by sentence.Group work.Step6 Writing1.
