Unit 3 Computers Writing课型:新授课 课时 第5课时 课题:Writing 计划学时:1课时学习内容分析:本节课是第三单元 Computers 的第5课时。要求学生在了解Computers的基础上,运用英语中的描述人物中的语句创造并描述心目中的机器人。通过本节课的学习,把描写想象中的机器人的句子写成英语短文。本节课在本单元中把“输入”转化为“输出”,起到了“学以致用”的作用。学情分析:授课对象为高一学生,且学生学习基础薄弱,英语写作水平参差不齐,许多学生还停留在初中阶段。因此,本节课我由易到难,先从学生初中写作的基本要求介绍朋友的描写入手,让学生对将要学习的知识有“亲切感”,使大部分学生能够有能力,有兴趣投入到本节课的写作学习中来。教学目标: 1.知识目标与技能: 1)Design an android. 2)Write a passage about what the android can do while he/she is serving people. 2. 过程与方法: Leading,analyzing;discussing, writing3. 情感态度与价值观 Make full use of their imagination. Love to express their opionions by writing教学重点:Design an android and describe it解决措施:Design an android by reading a passage.教学难点:Write a passage about an android解决措施:Write the composition by designing and describing an android in goups. Teaching procedures: Step I Lead-in 设计意图:Be interested in androids Step II Pre-writing: 1. Read the passage fast to fill in the file about an android 设计意图:Design an android by using some sentences with which the students can describe an android.2. Ask students to try to act like an android in order to be familiar with it.The teacher: Suppose: You are Andy ,an android. You work for a football team. Please introduce “yourself”to us. Who can have a try?Student A: Let me try. 设计意图:The students can be interested in androids and help the students describe their androids 3. Create your own android. Post-Writing Evaluate their passages评价内容标准得分书写整洁,美观4分词汇拼写正确选词得当,语句通顺流畅6分1.Ask a goup to show their composition on the blackboard and than, ask a student to evaluate it.2.Ask other goups to exchange their composition to evaluate them.设计意图:Make the students pay more attention to writing requirements.Sample writing:My Android My android is called Jack. It is as tall as a real man. It can do all my jobs around the house. This means that it should clean the house, mop the floors, cook the dinner and deal with telephone calls. It should also watch over my naught niece, who comes to my house very often. Whenever she comes, I have to look after her, and sometimes help her with her homework . I hope my android will be programmed to do homework and not make mistakes. I dont mind what my android looks like, but it must be able to talk and tell funny stories to my niece.设计意图:Make students improve their writing skills by learning sample writing.Step V Summing upI have learned how to write a compositin about androids in this class.I can write something about androids:Phases: look/be like _Sentences: It is named(My androids name is.)_设计意图:The students can review what they have learned in this class.Step VI Homework:Please write a passage about your ideal android.设计意图:Consolidation课后反思:本节课旨在让学生写出自己心目中的机器人,这对于基础薄弱的学生来说是非常困难的任务。我
