Unit 2: Ill help to clean up the city parks.Period 1 (1a-2d) 攀枝花市大河中学 陈 璇Teaching aims(教学目标)1.学会怎样主动提供帮助和做志愿活动2.能够熟练的运用本节课出现的动词短语Language points(语言点)要求掌握以下句式: Id like to work outside.I hope to clean up the city parks.I volunteer to visit the sick children in the hospital.You could give out food at a food bank.2要求掌握以下动词词组:cheer up give out clean up hope to do volunteerDifficulties(难点): 1.掌握 “I could”句型。2.掌握一定量的动词短语的用法。Teaching steps(教学步骤)1.Duty reports (值日报告)(5 mins)Students asks 3 questions and others answer.利用预备铃3分钟和课前2分钟2. Lead in(课堂导入)(5 mins)T: Look at the picture .who can you remind of? S: Lei Feng(用热爱帮助人的雷锋引入,激发同学们的共鸣。)T:Do you often help people like him?Ss: Yes .T: what could you do to help others ?S1: S2: Show some pictures that showed the ways to help people, help students to speak out them. Read twice.( 以图片和问题导入,激发学生的好奇心和兴趣,引入主题。)Then summarize the people in the pictures. T: who are they?S: Volunteers!如果学生回答有难度,老师可以多给一些提示,如There are people who offer their time to help others who are in need or in trouble. What do we call them?)(学生回答完之后,教师把“volunteer” 板书在黑板上,并解析“志愿者”)T: Yes, we could do many things for people in need.3. Pair work(小组合作)(3 mins)T: Do you want to be a volunteer?Ss: Yes!T: Ok! Now you are going to make a conversation like this. “If you work for the school volunteer project, your partner wants to be a volunteer. Interview him”. A: Do you want to be a volunteer?B: Yes,A: Why do you want to join us?B: Because A: What could you do to help people?B: I could (学生思考自己的方式去帮助人们,并编对话,练习口语) 4. Presentation(学生展示)(5 mins) Five pairs are allowed to show their conversations. Other students should take notes at the same time.(5组学生展示时,其他学生做笔记,为下一环节做准备)5.Summary ( 1a )(课堂小结)(3 mins) Students volunteer to summarize the five ways to help people. Finish 1a.(学生自己总结,然后抄写在书上)6.Listening (1b)(听力部分)(6 mins)T: OK. Look at the picture on page 9, A boy and a girl are talking about volunteering. Do you want to know how they are going to help others? Ss: Yes!T: Now look at Activity 1b. Lets listen to the conversation.Listen for the first time and number the ways the boy and the girl could help others.Check the answers.Listen again and complete the sentences. A boy and a girl are talking about volunteering. Do you want to know how they are going to help others?(听力任务较简单,设置让学生完成听力材料里的句子,帮助他们写短语)Circle the new phrases and words in the sentence. Try to explain them in English. (动词词组是这节的重点,学生进入初二,应该会用英语词典,鼓励学生用英语解释单词和短语) 7.Recite and Revision (学生复述)(5 mins)Students are given 2 minutes to recite 4 sentences in 1b.Try to say the sentences according to the pictures on PPT without books. ( 给一定时间让学生熟悉句子,然后说出来,进一步巩固短语运用 )T: Good job! You are so clever! 8. Practice(对话练习)(5 mins)T: Now lets practice. Have a similar conversation with your partner according to the information in 1b. Then I d like you to share your dialogues with the class.A:In the first picture, where did they go ?B: They went to .A: when did they go there ?B: They went there on.A: What did they do ?B: They helped to .(编对话并反复操练,巩固学生所学的句型和词组,同时也锻炼了口语能力。)9. Group work(小组讨论)(2 mins)Observe the sentences and find the differences between them. Summarize. Finish the blanks.(学生小组
