Step 2 Warming-up1. Look at the pictures and answer the questions.1. Who are they? 2. In which book are they the main characters?3. Which character do you like best? Keys: 1. Theyre Zhu Bajie, Su Wukong, Sha Heshang and Tang Seng. 2. Journey to the West.(说完介绍西游记的作者及大致情况) 3. I like Monkey King best. T:I like monkey king best too.so this class we will learn the monkey king.Step 3 New words(预习检测)1. Listen to the tape and underline the new words. 1. object n. 物体 2. tail n. 尾巴 3. stick n. 棍;条 4. excite v. 使激动;使兴奋 5. western adj. 西方的2. 学生们跟读并自己读。Step 4 Reading 1. Fast reading Read the passage quickly and match the main ideas with these paragraghs.
