Unit 7 Enjoy your hobbyLesson 37 Whats your hobby? 教材分析本课的教学内容是第七单元的第一课时, 主要涉及兴趣和爱好的介绍。通过本课的学习, 使学生能够运用所学语言简单地介绍自己的兴趣爱好, 采用多媒体来调动学生学习新知识的兴趣, 使学生在轻松的气氛下学习和掌握知识, 降低学生的学习难度。 教学目标【知识与能力目标】记忆单词hobby, spare, earth, collect, stone, concert, ticket, trade, garden短语in ones free/spare time, be interested in doing, all kinds of等。【过程与方法目标】Reading and speaking【情感态度价值观目标】激发学生培养爱好、热爱生活的热情。 教学重难点【教学重点】掌握描述自己和他人爱好的简单的表达方式并进行交流。【教学难点】结合本课的具体内容和学生的实际情况, 把直观法、交际法、任务型教学法融为一体, 组织教学, 让学生在学中做, 做中学。 课前准备图片,PPT 教学过程Step. Lead inLeading in 【情景1】T: Good morning, boys and girls. We can do something we like to relax after school. What do you like to do when youre free?S1: I like reading. S2: I enjoy singing. T: I like drawing. My hobby is drawing. T: A hobby is something you enjoy doing. Write “Lesson 37: Whats Your Hobby?”on the blackboard. Show the pictures of stamps, chess, ping-pong, swimming, surfing the Internet, stones, concert, ticketson the PPT. T: Is this your hobby?Ss: Yes/No. My hobby isT: What other hobbies do you know?Ask the students to discuss the question in groups. 设计意图谈论贴近学生实际生活的hobby话题, 导入本课主题。Leading in 【情景2】1. T: Today we will start a new unit. Whats the title?S1: The title is “Enjoy Your Hobby”. T: Yes. Lets look at the title page for this unit. What do you think that boys hobby is?S1: His hobby is fishing. T: Right. What other kinds of hobbies do you know?Ss: Painting. /Drawing. /Playing sports. /Reading. /Playing an instrument. T: A hobby is something you do for fun. What are you interested in doing?S2: I am interested in painting/reading/writing/dancing/playing, etc. T: Hobby is also something that you do in your spare time or free time. What do you like to do?Ss: I like to play computer games in my free time. /I like to watch TV in my spare time. /I enjoy playing with my friends in my free time. 2. Show some pictures and some simple sentences to present the new words and phrases. Students guess the meanings of the new words and phrases according to the pictures. 设计意图图文结合, 帮助学生轻松自然地领会生词和短语的意思。Step. Listening Listen to the dialogue and write true (T)or false (F). (1)What does Wang Mei like to do in her free time?_(2)What does Li Ming enjoy playing?_(3)What does Yang Hao think of studying stars?_(4)What is Li Lins hobby?_(5)Does Yi Han like collecting stones?_【Keys】(1)She likes to exercise in her free time. (2)He enjoys playing ping-pong. (3)He finds it very interesting. (4)He likes collecting stones. (5)No, she likes collecting concert tickets. 设计意图学生可以锻炼自己的思维能力, 也可以培养合作的能力, 意在给学生提供不同的发展空间, 体现了关注差异、因材施教的理念。2. Ask the students to read Lesson 37 and complete Exercise 1 in “Lets Do It!”. 3. Have a further discussion about the text and important points. 教材解读1. I like to exercise in my free time. in ones free/spare time 表示“在某人的业余时间里”。She often helps her mother do the housework in her free time. 她经常在业余时间帮助妈妈做家务。2. Exercising is fun, and it also helps to keep us healthy. 动名词或动词不定式短语作主语时, 谓语动词应该用第三人称单数。“keep sb. /sth. +adj. ”意为“使某人/某物保持某种状态”, 相当于“make sb. /sth. +adj. ”。3. I enjoy playing ping-pong. enjoy doing sth. 表示“喜欢做某事”, enjoy要接doing 作为宾语, 不能跟 to do 或者 do, 具有相同用法的词还有keep, finish, mind(介意), practice 等。Tony enjoys playing computer games. 托尼喜欢玩电脑游戏。4. If I find an interesting one, I take it home and add it to my collection. addto意思是“把加到上”, 把前一项加到后一项之后或之中。Please add some salt to the soup. 请给汤里加些盐。5. Im interested in collecting all kinds of concert tickets. be interested in doing sth. 意为“对做某事感兴趣”。He is interested in listening to the music. 他对听音乐很感兴趣。kind用作名词, 表示“种类”, 常用的固定搭配有kind of, kinds of等。all kinds of意为“各种各样的, 不同种类的”。6. I also trade my tickets with other people. trade作及物动词, 意为“交换”, 后加名词或代词作宾语。trade for以交换;trade with sb. 和某人交换。【拓展】作可数名词, 意为“交易”, 复数形式是trades。WTO is short for the World Trade Organization. WTO是世界贸易组织的缩略词。设计意图训练学生的思维和表达能力, 突破重点的同时, 要注意以学生为主体。Step . Activities1. Ask some students to act the dialogue out in front of the class. 2. Come to “PROJECT”. Divide the class into several groups and finish the project. When the students are discussing, the teacher walks around the classroom and helps them if necessary. 设计意图回归教材, 把语言点学以致用, 激发学生的兴趣。Step .
