Then describe the pictures in English.To activate the students and arouse curiosity as well as to revise the target structures. Grammar Focus1.Ask students to read the sentences in pairs:1)A:What were you doing at eight last night?B:I was taking a shower.2)A:What was she doing at the time of the rainstorm?B:She was doing her homework.2. Cooperation and inquiry: the usage of when and while1) when可指时间点, 又可指时间段, 从句中可用延续性动词,也可用非延续性动词,从句用过去时。2) while总是指一个时间段, 从句中必须用延续性动词,从句用进行时。3. Exercise4.
