Before listen 2a, in order to make sure students really understand the new words and phrases, ask students to read the new words and phrases after me. Then give students two minutes to remember these words.2. Read the instruction.3. Look at the pictures and write the key words on the blackboard.4. Play the recording. Ask students to listen and check the things they are going to do to tell people about planning a City Park Clean-Up Day.5. Check the answers.Step II. Listening1. Before listen 2b, in order to make sure students really understand the new words and phrases, ask students to read the new words and phrases after me again.2. Give students 1 minute to the sentences.3. Play the recording. Ask students to listen again. Fill in the blanks. If necessary, I will press the “stop” to have students write.4. Ask several students to write own answers on the blackboard. Then check the answers.Step III. Speaking1. Ask students to read the tapescripts of 2a and 2b.2.Ask students to make a conversation using the information in 2a and 2b with their partner.3.Ask several groups to role-play their conversation.Step IV. Reading1. Read the conversation with students.2. Ask students to role-play the conversation.Step V. Homework1. Remember the new words and phrases.2. Read and try to recite the conversations.Step VI.
