First of all, lets have a look at several pictures. This one shows a place in German. Look at the word “Eros-center”. Maybe you dont know what it is. But you must know what “Red Light District”.Well, perhaps some of you know the lady, especially the boys. She is Sora Aoi(苍井空). She is the representative of modern Japanese AV culture and is quite famous in Asian area.The third one is a movie called 3D Sex and Zen(肉蒲团).it was on in Hong Kong last year and arrested a lot of attention at home and abroad. However, it is a forbidden film in the Chinese mainland, because it displays too many details about sex.The last one is so well-known that at least I suppose all of you must have heard of it. But in most of cases, what we see of it isnt intact, that is, it has been cut out to some degree.Now maybe you have got my topic today. (The sixth)Yeah, it is sex, a very sensitive topic. As it is written in my PPT, I use the word “forbidden”a forbidden topic. Our topic is popular but it is seldom talked about in public. On the surface, sometimes it is forbidden by the government, while on the interior it is “forbidden” by our traditional idea and morality. (The seventh) So, what is our traditional idea and morality of sex?(The eighth)Fist, in ancient China, sex is just considered a basic way of reproducing and is thought to be the most low-grade human behavior. Sex is only discussed between couples and anyone who talks of it in public will be regarded as an indelicate person. Even worse, if a woman does so, that would mean the woman is frivolous, and maybe no man will marry her. So, conventional sex is not an open topic.Second, the value of chastity forces women to be conservative. In ancient China, those women who fornicate with others will be cruelly killed. Because of so, the majority of women are scared to talk about sex for fear of being taken as a vamp and causing fatal disaster. Besides, most women think that the value of chastity will accrue day by day if they keep it pure. So, they refuse to talk about sex.Third, traditional rules provide that women and men should keep the distance. We call it “男女授受不亲”(It is improper for men and women to touch each others hands when passing objects.). And ancient people think that if a womans body is seen by a man, she must marry him, and the man is supposed to marry her. Therefore, women choose not be close with men, while men keep away from women. As for talking about sex, it is less impossible.(The ninth)Traditional ideas have strong effect on our outlooks on sex. But they are social factors. However, our sex education comes too late, which take another responsibility for the present situation.(The tenth)Lets have a look at a comparison between western countries and China on the sex education.First, the idea of sex, western culture sees sex as a natural of physical and psychological phenomenon, which is the most precious gift that god presents humans. So, Europe, America and some countries where sex conception is more open, make sex education part of the curriculum of elementary and junior schools. But in Chinese traditional ideology and culture, sex is the ugly things and secrets about it is too much.(The eleventh)Second, the content of sex education, the main content of sex education in the west is the human reproductive system about the organization, function, and sexual intercourse, pregnant and so on. Chinas traditional education mainly helps children form gender consciousness. When a child is born, boys and girls were respectively taught according to the society of men and women and the different requirements of education. (The twelfth)Third, the age of beginning educatees, some sex educators hold the view that sex education should begin from kids. And some countries have done this. However, sex education in China is quite unsuccessful, which usually starts from junior school. Children hardly contact the knowledge about sex during elementary school.(The thirteenth)Forth, the main body of implementation, western sex education is mainly done by parents accompanied by schools. Teachers are required to be professionally trained. And parents are demanded to be cultivated so that school and family education can be efficiently combined and work out. In China, family education is poor, and schools focus on the body structure of men or women. They seldom discuss sexual life or guide the students into a right outlook on sexual life. (The fourteenth)Ok, comparisons are quite a lot, through the comparisons above, we can find out that our sex education is very backward in many ways. (The fifteenth)Due to the poor education, negative sides turn up vehemently. Problems are misunderstanding of sex and excessive suppression of sexual drive and excessive indulging in sexual life. (The sixteenth) What is our understanding of sex?First, what is our understanding of sex relations? Maybe we have different answers.But this man gives his idea to us. His name is 李扁, a famous expert in the field of sex study. He is the first man to put forward the concept “Sex well-off”. And he expresses his comprehension about sexual relations.(The seventeenth) He thinks that the nature of sex is neither about sexual organ nor about sexual behavior, it is about relations. If we just care about sexual organ and behavior, we are in common with animals. We must form relations between each other. That is love. Love is basis of true sex which is different from animals low-grade behavior. If we have sexual drive on no basis, we are just returning to our primitive nature as animals. But now, some of us just think that sex is only about sexual organ and behavior. (The eighteenth)Then, what is the difference between sex and eroticism?1: Sex is based on certain relations. It includes art, ethnic(伦理学), praxiology(行为学) and so on. It is high-grade human activities.2: Eroticism is based on humans primitive nature. It belongs to low-grade human activities. In our life, we often wrong take sex as eroticism, and avoid it, forbid it. In my opinion, This is why some excellent films like 色戒、苹果, are cut out, and why some movies are forbidden.(The nineteenth)Well, excessive suppression of sexual drive and excessive indulging in sexual life is the other problem. According to LiBians theory, sexual drive is an impulse that you have to enjoy the course and the relations between two when making love. Sexual life is a kind of life made up of sex relations.(The twentieth)Recently, a controversial(备受争议的) movie has been on in Britain. It tells a story about a man who sometimes suppresses his sexual drive and sometimes excessively indulges himself in sexual life. (The twenty-fist)He often changes his sex partner and he constantly meets his demands by masturbation. In fact he suffers from a psychological illness called “Sex Addiction”. This is the result of the problem mentioned above. We first of all should know what our sex is based on. Do we really love each other or just we have strong interest in sexual behavior and organ? If you only want to perform eroticism, I suggest that youd better give up your idea, because you are doing something irresponsible for the girl. Dont be a man just understanding sexual organ and behavior. However, if you really love her and are loyal to her, sex may strengthen your love by forming a sex relations, then, I dont it is improper to pursue sex. But for girls, I think, you must be careful with sex because it is difficult for you to recognize whether your present boyfriend will finally marry you and give you happiness or felicity, that is, dont be taken in.(The twenty-fourth)Then, if you are a bachelordom, especially males, learn to free and control your sexual drive
