Tell students the main characters and some new words in this fairy tale. 2. Show the first part of this fairy tale to students and then ask them to answer two questions: 1) Why did their stepmother want to abandon them? 2) Did their father agree with his wife at first? 3. Show students the second part and let them do the following exercise: Choose true or false: T or F 1) Hansel and Gretel were taken to the forest._ 2) Hansel didnt know his parents plan._ 3) Hansel prepared some pebbles before._ 4) Their parents came back to look for them at last._ 4. Show students the third part and ask them to say these two sentences out: How did they manage to find their way back? Tomorrow Ill take them so deep they will never get out. 5.
