Teaching procedures & waysStep I Lead inFirst review what they have learnt in Lesson 49, and then ask the student to show his model car to the whole class.Step II DiscussingGet students to talk about questions in THINK ABOUT IT. Help them get familiar with talking about others hobbies.Step IV ReadingAsk the student to read the letter and explain the language points to help them to better understand the letter.Language points:1. thank sb. for sth. 因某事感谢某人。I thank you for your help.thank sb. for doing sth. 因为某人做了某事而感谢某人。I thank you for helping me a lot.2. like doing sth. 喜欢做某事(经常行为)。I like swimming.like to do sth. 喜欢做某事(具体行为)。Its a fine day and I like to swim this afternoon.like doing sth.和like to do sth.一般情况下可以互换。3. feel 是系动词,后面跟形容词。I feel happy,but you feel sad.4. need to do sth.You need to do it again.5. trade = changeI trade my knife for you pen.Step V Writing (Lets Do It)Get the student to complete LETS DO IT.T: Now lets interview your partner about his or her family members.
