Greetings;2. Watch a short video to review the Present Continuous Tense and lead in the Past Continuous Tense. Step 2 Presentation1. Show some flashes and ask students to say What are/is they /he/she doing (now)?Each student answers one .2. Show the flashes again and ask students to say What were/was they /he/she doing at this time yesterday?Each student answers one .3 .Show two pictures on one screen and ask students to describe them: when sb. is/are doing sth. sth is/are happening. Then change the sentence into: When/while sth was/were happening. sb. was/were doing sth.4.Enjoy a short video and answer “What was the weather like?” to lead in “rainstorm”5.Teach “rainstorm” and explain it.Step3.Pratice1.
