To improve the interest and skills of listening.2. To gain students awareness of how they can help others in their communities.教学思路本课的教学内容是人教版八年级英语下册第二单元的第一课时,重点在于引导学生谈论做志愿者活动,由于授课教师和本班部分学生本身就是自愿者,经常参加各种志愿者活动,学生谈论自愿者活动,尤其是自己亲身经历的志愿者活动,更能激发学生的兴趣,培养学生参与公益事业的意识 ,使其他学生也能积极的参与到公益活动中来,任务以听说为主。因此,将知识目标定为掌握本课时的单词,以及能够用 could 和 hope to 谈论自己能为他人所做的事情。情感目标定为让学生深刻理解志愿者工作的伟大意义,引导他们积极地投身于志愿者活动中。教学准备Multimedia,blackboard,tape-recorder教学过程Step 1. Lead-in1.Show a video.Lead in by watching a video and asking the question:Who are they?Theyre volunteers. They could volunteer to help others.设计意图:用视频展示让学生思考“什么是志愿者,帮助别人都能做什么?”引出 volunteer、volunteer to do something,同时用clean up引出标题。2. List some ways we could help people.Present the new items by showing some photos: We could give out some food to the old; We could clean up the streets; We could visit the old at the old peoples home and give performances-Read them aloud to get the pronunciation right.设计意图:本环节通过创设情境导入新课,让学生运用所学知识,引出新的短语,同时利用学生以及授课教师以往参加志愿者活动的照片更直观的学习新单词和短语。鼓励学生说出参加志愿者活动的经过以及心得,通过这种方式展示新的短语,学生接受起来会比较轻松。Step 2. Listening1. Go over the sentences in 1b,and present the new items in them.2. Listen and number the ways the boy and the girl could help others.3. Check the students answers. Step 3.PracticingPractice conversations in pairs like this:A:I hope to work outside.B:You could help to clean up the city parks.-Step 4. Listening1. Present the phrases:come up with , put off , put up , call up,hand out.2. Listen and check the things they are going to do to tell people about the City Park Clean-Up Day in 2a.3. Listen again, and fill in the blanks in 2b.4. Check the students answers.设计意图:本部分的内容重在培养学生们听大意和听细节信息的能力,所以先帮助学生听出每个对话地大意再去完成后面对应地细节题。通过引导学生对通知别人的方式进行总结,来巩固对动词短语的识记。Step 5. Pair work1. Read aloud the conversation in 2c together.2. Make up their own conversations in pairs.3. Act out their conversations in pairs, then in class.Step 6. Free talkWatch a video.A famous volunteer wants to say something to the students. Let the students watch it and think it over, then show us how to volunteer. If he or she has any trouble,and the teacher goes through the classroom and offers help if necessary.设计意图:通过2016年度海城市最美志愿者江海源的个人事迹,带领的团队以及作为残疾人,不但没有消极生活,更是积极回馈社会,组建了阳光90志愿者团队,很幸运,他还录像给全班同学,号召同学们以后可以积极的投身于志愿者活动中,这个视频起到承上启下的作用,让学生们更进一步思考,有榜样的力量的同时,接下来自己会为志愿者事业做出什么样的贡献呢?Step 7.
