Load distribution is designed to be even on the right and left sides of the vehicle. Intermittent service does not refer to the length of time a vehicle is in use but rather that it is loaded and unloaded intermittently. Currently only counterbalanced lift trucks meet this definition.6.5 Continuous servicerefer to that the vehicle is loaded most of the time when in operation; refers to all vehicles not designed for intermittent service. Continuous service does not refer to the long time operation of vehicle but rather refer to the vehicle is continually loaded while in operation.7 Tyre selection7.1 Selection of tyre size and ply rating must be based on the highest individual wheel load for a given service speed and condition.7.2 For counterbalanced lift trucks, the steering wheel tyre is loaded to its max. when the vehicle is fully unloaded ( no payload ). 7.3 The load wheel is loaded to its max. when the vehicle is fully loaded ( max. payload ). The load wheel tyres are on the axle nearest to the payload.8 Others For tyre sizes and ply ratings, load indexes, measuring rims, new tyre dimensions, max. tyre service dimensions, permitted rims and valve types, see Table 6-1, Table 6-3Table 6-5 and Table 6-6,in which max. tyre service dimensions are data as reference for usages. Inflation pressures ad corresponding loads can be seen in Table 6-2 and Table 6-4.
