Besides, it can teach the students how to introduce themselves to others, in order to improve their communicative abilities. And the teacher should teach the students phonetic symbol of b.二. Teaching Aims1. The students can learn the knowledge in this lesson, such as the words, sentences and making the dialogues.2. The students can learn how to talk about the Countries and their own flags,.3. It can train their cooperative abilities, and let them know what is the team-work, meanwhile, it also can train their abilities of a healthy competition.三 Teaching Abilities 1 Knowledge Ability: Let the students learn the words and the basic sentences, and practice their ability of making dialogues. 2 Feeling Ability: It mainly improves the students communicative abilities, so that they can talk freely in English with other people. Besides, it also can practice their ability of group work.四 Teaching Aids1. Radio and tape or Multimedia 2. some pictures about Countries flags 3. words cards 五 Teaching Emphasis and Difficulties1. Teaching Emphasis: Britain、Australia、NewZealand、hello、hi、I am n2. Teaching Difficulties: (1) Im Bob. Im eleven. I come from Britain. (2) Im = I am六 Teaching procedures1. Warming-up: Sing the song named Where are you from, so that it can make the students be interested in todays class.2. Presentation: (1) Leading-in: Asking the students some questions, such as, different people from different Countries, but do you know Where do they come from? Then show different people and their Countries pictures to the students, let them guess Whats his or her name? where do they come from? Because, it can help them to review these words which have learnded, and it also can consolidate the knowledge. But the teacher should remember to let the students spell the words. The most important, the teacher and the students review the knowledge together. From this way, the students will be active in todays class.(2) First, showing some new different Countries pictures to the students, and ask them such as :T: Whats his name? How old is he? Where is he from? Can you guess?SS: Hes Ben. Hes ten. He is from Britain.Then the teacher teach them read the words and the sentences together, the teacher can let the boys and the girls compete, then choose the best group, and give this group one score. Second, showing another picture to the students, and ask them such as:T: Whats her name? How old is she? Where is she from? Can you guess?SS: Her name is Betty. She is eleven. She is from Australia. Then the teacher teach them read the words and the sentences together, the teacher can let the boys and the girls compete, then choose the best group, and give this group one score.Third, the teacher still let the students guess the Country, and let them answer like this:T: Whats his name? How old is he? Where is he from? Can you guess?SS: Hes Bill. Hes twelve. He is from NewZealand.Then the teacher teach them read the words and the sentences together, the teacher can let the boys and the girls compete, then choose the best group, and give this group one score.Fourth, the teacher shows another picture to the students, and let them introduce themselves,such as: T: Whats your name? How old are you? Where do you come from?SS:Im. Im. I come from . Fifth, lets act!The teacher chooses some students to the front, and let them take someflags, such as China, Canada, Singapore, Japan, Britain, NewZealand, Australia, and then they begin to introduce themselves to others. After introducing themselves, other students should greet to them, it can improve their communicative abilities.Sixth, the teacher teaches them the phonetic symbols of b, then chant the part 4. The students can clap the desk, so that they are interested in it, and the teacher can let the boys and the girls compete, then choose the best group, and give this group one score.Seventh, the teacher shows another pictures of different Countries to the students, and let them guess where do these animals come from?, such as :T: What do these pandas come from? Can you guess?SS: They come from China.T: What does the kangaroo come from? Can you guess?SS: It comes from Australia.The teacher let the boys and the girls compete, if who is right, and he or she can give One score.3. Reading and free-talk: Reading the words together after the teacher, but should teach them the rising tone and falling tone, the teacher can let the boys and girls compete. Besides, the teacher can let the students read or make the dialogues, in order to improve their communicative abilities.4. Listening: When teach the words or sentences, let the students listen to the multi-media or the radio, and then answer the teachers questions.5. Activity: (1) Guess the animals Countries, then let the boys or girls compete, and choose the best group.(2) Radish down (萝卜蹲)游戏: choose four or more students to the front, tell them their own Countries, and let them play this game, such as : Britain蹲 Britain 蹲 Britain蹲完 China 蹲! China蹲 China蹲 China蹲完Canada蹲. 6. Sing two songs : The teacher play the music , and let the students sing these two sentence, and choose the best group. Such as : Im Bob, Im eleven.
