No Pains,No GainsIt is obvious to everybody that the only way to achieve ones goal is to work hard. Just as the old saying goes no mill, no meal. Have you ever seen a man who succeeds just by idling about? Of course, the answer is No. So we know if you want to gain something, you will have pains. The farmers harvest by a year of arduous work; the scientists gain achievements by years of devoted researches; students get good marks by working hard; even the little ants have their food by working hard day and night. 1 know there are always some people who wait for the opportunities falling on them. They may attribute their failures to lack of good chances. Therefore, there are so many people gaining nothing at last. Clever men know that the more effort they make, the bigger chance they will have to be successful. So, when others achieve their aspirations and you still gain nothing, dont complain about the unfair fate and dont give up, either. Remember: no pains, no gains. No Pains, No GainsThe heights which great man reach and keep are not attained by a sudden flight. Most of us feel envious of the famous and successful man. We do not understand why they are so popular and honored while we are mere simple common folks. In our misconception, we think that people are prosperous because they are especially gifted or that they are just lucky. All these have taken root in our stubborn minds, and we refuse to believe that most great men have a mind which is the same as, or perhaps even simpler and duller than that of ours.Yet, their triumphs are great. Why? Because they are apt to fight difficulties with perseverance without fatigue, undergo sufferings without minding the wounds; they realize that hardships form the road that they must pass through before reaching their destination. Their endurance is more powerful than that of ours for the simple reason that they submit without complaint to each storm in life.To illustrate this, a good example is the adventure of Columbus. What a miserable state he was in before the discovery of the New World. First, it is the problem of getting the ship. It was no easy job. People thought he was crazy with nothing but imagination. When finally he was given the vessel, its crew created new difficulties. It consisted of men of different nationalities and they were unruly. When halfway on the voyage in the place of nowhere, they ran out of food and water. Had Columbus fallen into despair, America might have still remained unknown today. All of us wish for ti bright future and hope to master a useful career. Those who persist in remaining in idleness will never fulfil their ambitions, No pains, no gains is a motto with rnuch rneaning. Meditate and live by it. No Pains,No GainsNo Pains,No GainsIt is obvious to everybody that the only way to achieve ones goal is to work hard. Remember: no pains, no gains.1. The old saying no pains, no gains tells us a simple truth: one will not achieve anything if he does not work hard. For instance, when learning English, we have to acquire a large vocabulary. Although you can find all kinds of vocabulary books in the bookstore, or you may use different methods of memorizing, in the end you have to learn each word by heart one after another. It is simply not possible for any talented learner to master 5,000 new words a day. Many students feel painful in memorizing English words, but all they need to know is just No pains, no gains. In the fields of scientific study, the so-called geniuses generally need to work even harder than the commoners. Einsteins success formula said that sucess was composed of 99% of hardworking and only 1% of gift. Behind any accomplishment, there is a great amount of efforts.1.No pains no gains means that if we dont work hard we wont have anything. For example ,the most outstanding poet,Li Bai,he didnt study hard until he know that study is useful and important. Then,he became famous and talented. On the other hand,if we dont study hard now,we cant find a job in the future ,even that we cant look after ourselves! Einsteins success formula said that sucess was composed of 99% of hardworking and only 1% of gift.Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. Genius is 1% inspiration, and 99% perspiration.-By EdisonAll accomplishments and success come from sustained endeavor. 2010-7-13 13:32Edison inventing the light bulb did not 1500 many experiments to find suitable lamp filament material, it was ridiculed, he said: Mr. Edison, you have failed in 1500 many times. Edison replied: No I have not failed, I have done is found in more than 1500 kinds of materials are not suitable for the filament lamp. After further testing, Edison found that the Japanese use bamboo charcoal for the best filament. Until 1906, Edison has to do to switch to tungsten, so that the quality has improved light bulb, has been in use to this day.Nearly every civilization has its own equivalent to the proverb “ No pains, no gains.” It means that nothing can be gained without painstaking efforts and that no knowledge or skill can be acquired without sweat or toil. You dont have to look very far too prove the truth of the proverb. Darwins great discovery was not the work of a moment but was preceded by years of patient, arduous observation. Mozart was not an accomplished pianist at the age of eight as the result of watching countless hours of TV. Nor did Edison make himself the greatest inventor in the modern world by spending his spare time on going to parties or bars. His words “Genius is 99 percent perspiration and one percent inspiration ,reveals the secret of thousands of successful men and women. All accomplishments and success come from sustained endeavor. Although it is an old saying,“ no pains no gains” has its profound and realistic significance in our college studies. To acquire knowledge in a particular field and to attain any academic goals, great exertion and persistent effort are undoubtedly required because we all know that “No pains, no gains.” 本文来自作文地带:/cet6/13898.hit is obvious to everybody that the only way to achieve ones goal is t
