Lead-inShow some pictures about myself in doing chores on the PPT and lead to the topic of this class-do chores.【Purpose】First take myself an example to lead to the related topic of this lesson.It can help the students to understand the topic and can attract them to my class.Step3. New words(Show a picture and ask) T: Do you know this kind of chores? What is he doing? He is doing the dishes. (Teach other new words: take out the rubbish, sweep the floor, fold your clothes and so on in the same way)(Teach the students how to read these words, and then ask the students to read together)【Purpose】The Ss can learn the words easily and directly in this way. And it can also draw the Ss attention and arouse their interest.Step4. Guessing GameShow some pictures, ask the students to guess what chores they are doing. (Ask a student to answer, and then check the answers) 【Purpose】This game can create a relaxing atmosphere and make students active in speaking English.You see,students can consolidate the phrases of doing chores a lot. Besides,it can also pave the way for the next task.Step5. Pair workT: Do you do chores at home? What chores do you do? How often do you do them? Presentation T: (show a picture of a dirty kitchen and say) At home, I often do these chores. Look at this picture, the kitchen is very dirty, right? I have to do the dishes. But Im a little tired. Could you please do the dishes? If you can help me, you can answer“Yes, sure./OK”If you cant help, you can answer“Sorry, I cant.”Then you should tell me your reason, clear? (then show more pictures and ask more students to answer such questions)【Purpose】Teach the new sentences in real situation, it is easy for them to understand and master.Step8. Pair workT: Do you know how to make polite requests now? Lets have some practice.
