Language focus: Have you ever been to a science museum? Yes, I have. I went to the National Science Museum last year. Have you ever been to a history museum last year? No, I havent. Me neither. Lets go to one tomorrow.教学过程:Step 1Play a video clip about travelling in Britain.T: Have you ever been to Britain? Ss: Yes./No.T: How do you like it? Where have you been? What did you do?(Free talk)Step 2 WordsShow pictures of London, Stonehenge, Paris (Eiffel Tower & the Louvre)T: What is this place?Ss: The Big Ben, in England.T: What is this place?Ss: The Stonehenge, in England.Etc.Step 3 SentenceShow a picture of the teacher in London and tell them “I went to England in 2011”.Did you go to another place?(I went to England in 2011.) (I went to Guangzhou last year.)(I went to + place + time)I went to England and now I am here. I can say “I have been to England.Step 4 Practice Show the pictures of the 4 places. First, ask them to say the names of the places and then ask the students. “Have you ever been to ?”Ss: Yes, I have. / No, I havent.After this, ask the students to ask the teacher the same questions based on the pictures showing on the screen.Ss: Have you ever been to ?T: Yes, I have.Ss: Have you ever been to Beijing?T: Yes, I have. How about you?Ss: Me too.Ss: Have you ever been to the moon?T: No I havent. How about you?Ss: Me neither. / Neither have I. / Nor have I.Show a picture of Neil Armstrong.T: Has he ever been to the moon?Ss: Yes, he has.T: Actually, he is the first man landed on the moon. His famous word “thats one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind” is known all around the world. Play the recording of the sentence.Step 5 A little more about the travel to the moon.Show a video clip of the astronauts from Apollo 17 dancing and singing on the moon.Step 6 ConsolidationShow the dialogue again and make sure the students understand how to use the word neither.I have been to Beijing. How about you? Me, too.I havent been to the moon. How about you? Me neither.Then ask the students to complete three more conversations in order to let them use the expression “me neither”.Ss: Have you ever been to Qomolangma/ Iceland/ the Sahara?T: No, I havent. How about you?Ss: Me neither.Step 7 VocabularyShow the picture of the British museum and let the students guess what it is by giving them some clues.T: What other museums do you know?(Science museum, history museum, art museum, Nature museum, Space museum)Step 8 ListeningHas ever been to ?Yes, she has/ no she hasnt.Step 9 Some places to have fun!Water park, zoo, amusement park.Step 10 Pair workLet the students make
