Analysis of the teaching materialThis class is the first period of this unit. So its a new lesson. In this class, we will talk about students normal problems and how to give advice. Based on that students have been able to talk about health problems and accidents and how to give related advice in Unit1 in this book, its not difficult for students to master the target language in this class. And the topic is related to the students own life, so its easy to arouse their interest and lead them to take an active part in class activities. After the class, students can get a general understanding of expressing life problems and suggestions. The importance should be placed on the sentence patterns of giving advice. In addition, to develop students skills of communicating with others should also be a focus.Teaching objectives:A. Knowledge objectives:After the class, students will be able to 1. Know and use the words: allow wrong2. Know and use the sentence patterns: Whats wrong? Whats the matter? Whats the trouble/ problem? Why dont you ? Why not ? You could/ should B. Ability objectives:1. Students will be able to talk about their life problems and give other advice to improve their listening and speaking skills;2. Students will be able to write the problems they have and the advice they offer.C. Emotion objectives:1. Students will know its normal to have problems in life,2. Students will try their best to communicate with others for advice if they have problems;3. Be optimistic to life.
